I demand various 80's Chrysler products. Like the Chrysler Laser and the Dodge Lancer.

Also i would like to see more American cars than European cars, in the trailer i saw Alfa Mito, some RUFs, a Bentley.
We need more American brands like Ford, Chrysler, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Lincoln, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Chevrolet.
Also i've seen only cars
Where are the trucks, vans, wagons, etc?
I don't like to see supercars in every corner, for that i can mod GTA

I still can't believe that they managed to license 120 vehicles. :o

All I really demand from this game are a 1970's Chevy/GMC pickup and a classic big rig. A monster truck would also be great.

Needs a 1978 Dodge Magnum XE and a 1976 Chrysler Cordoba- complete with fine Corinthian leather. :P

I agree that there needs to be more standard cars as apposed to supercars in order to create the everyday city/70s car chase movie vibe. Our IGCD page features a few more cars that were found in videos:

Hey, what the hell are Abarths doing in San Francisco? Those cars aren't even sold in America!

To answer your question, Wheelman75- It's because of all the stupid kids playing video games nowadays.
THESE are some of the vehicles they should have, instead of all the sh*tty modern Eurotrash-
http://oldcarsf.blogspot.com/
I cannot believe there is still a USA spec Lancia Beta and a Fiat 128 still around in SF.

It's probably because the developers are from Newcastle.

lolno.
It's because they know 80 percent of video game players are dumbass kids who LOVE eurotrash sports cars, so of course they know filling the streets ingame with Mclarens and BMWS will reel them in big bucks.

I`m totally agreed with PD. Driver:SF IS going to suck, same as the unreal placed cars in it, where the hell the pref*** the old 3D engine, old skybox, where? I was hoping of making REAL sequel to Driver 2 or even Driv3r. Didn`t anyone still not remember "Tanner and Jones return in 2002" after the Driver 2 credits?
When I first heard for it I knew, that it wouldn`t be the game I will wait to buy. Also friggin hate the stupid SHIFT. What the hell is that??? To change stupid cars one after another is veeery stupid thing! I prefer playing with Matchbox cars or with my LEGO Driver cars better than playing that game that will be released. I`m really and very, very disappointed of the game companies nowadays. Better to do games myself... with GameMaker8 :D

I don't really think SHIFT is crappy anymore, I care more about the abundance of European cars littering the streets.

In fairness, not that many cars have been announced out of the 120 so hopefully it will balance out.

Yeah, if they're gonna put Euro cars in, why not put in stuff that is or was...oh, I don't know...actually sold in the USA?

Having seen the presence of Abarths in the game, I am increasing my demands from this game. I now ask for:

-A 1973-80 GM full-size pickup
-An old big rig like a Pete 359 or Diamond-Reo
-A Renault 5 Le Car
-A Mercedes-Benz W123 sedan

On another note, I think they're showing all those shiny Euro-mobiles just to make the first glance of this game look more appealing to people, so maybe we will see the car roster balance out.

Speaking of 50's trucks, have you checked out Mafia 2?
Lots of awesome tin in that game.

Well, I wasn't really referring to 50's rigs, but I'll give it a check.

Thanks for the info about the vehicles, seems that new Driver will have a lot of modern vehicles, and most european, personally i don't like that, if the city is American, it should be with more American cars, i can't agree with Martin about Shift and the "iconic cars"

Me too. Camaro, Firebird, T/A, any of those would be fine.

They'll probably put the hideous 5th gen Camaro in instead of a badass '70 T/A :/.

The 5th-gen looks okay, but the 2nd-gen (especially the '70 & '78 models) blows it outta the water.
