I have a playstation 2 right now and I don't want to spend 300.00 or more for a playstation 3 to play driver 5. Can you write back ASAP and tell me???

I think there should be gas to fill up in your car (not in the missions, but when you are free roaming around the city)

I also think there should be planes and helicopters to drive

UBISOFT has announced so far that DRIVER: 5 will only be on next generation consoles which means XBOX360 and PS3 and possibly PC.

PS2's are quite old and you should consider upgrading it.
You have lots of time until Driver: 5 comes out and during that time the PS3 will get alot cheaper. Like the PS2. When that was first released it used to be the price of the PS3.

Since you said for me to upgrade to a playstation 3 to play Driver 5, when will Driver 5 come out? Someone at gamefaqs said it will come out on the 17th of November 2006, either 5 or 8 months fdrom now. Can you see about that?

The Playstation 3 will come out on that date.
You may have gotten both of them confused.

I also beleave it'd be at lease another year before they release Driver: 5 so you have a long time to make your upgrade. You may as well also wait for the PS3 consoles price to drop before you buy it.

I was thinking about that, but I didn't want Driver 5 to come out before the Playstation 3. Also, when Driver 5 comes out in a year, how much will you think the playstation 3 will cost?

I've noticed something really strange.
On Amazon they said that Driver: 5 will be released on the 17th of Novemember, Thats what you said in the first place. If this is true the PlayStation3 will be at it's maximum cost. AU$999.

I think they both may have gotten confused on this with this = http://www.gamingtarget.com/game.php?gameid=2751

It looks like UBISOFT will completly take over on that day

So your saying that they said driver 5 was going to be releaseed on the 17th of December, but you think that is a mistake? You think they've meant that Ubisoft is going to take driver over that day not that driver 5 is going to be released on that day? Why would they do that if it's not true? Can you WRITE BAK ASAP AND TELL ME????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

P.S. gamespot said that driver 5: TBA

Well to tell you the truth i beleave there isn't a release date yet.
It's way to early for reflections to think about release dates.

I think ShopIrelnd and Amazon's release dates are wrong.
I'll send UBISOFT and email to confirm all of this.

There has still been no confirmed release date for Driver 5.
And it has been confirmed only for NEXT GEN CONSOLES :S

Man, some developer at Ubisoft Reflections should leak some screenshots or videos. Or maybe Gareth or Martin should make an announcement as fast as possible !

@madness: Yes, I know Martin was sacked, or, I thought he quit. Anyway, so they're brothers? I thought (I have no idea why) that Martin was Gareth's uncle. I haven't heard much about them though, just read their names in the manuals.
