Also, yes, it does exist.

Unfortunately I'll have to divert this train back onto its tracks and say that I've ordered a copy of the Mac version, big box and all. Will upload scans and a DMG if anybody is interested, once it arrives.

Well, one show of interest is enough. I will update this topic when it arrives.

It'll be interesting to see if there's any sort of beta content in it.

Macsoft was purely a porting company as far as I know, so I'm guessing it will be a fairly direct Win > Mac OS port. Still, I'm interested to hear if you find anything.

Uh, what? Macsoft = Macsoft, a publisher of Macintosh games.

Well, here it is:
https://app.box.com/shared/static/aeixz ... hddr1r.dmg
Scans coming soon.
Unfortunately I have not been able to play it through Classic in OS X 10.4.11. It is incompatible somehow. I will have to find an iMac or just repartition my hard drive sometime.

I'm sorry, can't help with MacOS... It is a dark magic to me.
I think "Cockoyote" sounds better.

Could you upload the files after installing the game? I can't find any tools that can open the "Driver Installer" file (Installer VISE). This is very important as it contains the game data.

Agree with that, only the videos and the tracks can be extracted.

I have a MacBook with the latest stable Operating System. Mavericks.
When I click the installer icon I get the error message, "You can't open the application "%@" because it may be damaged or incomplete".
Maybe it's because it was designed for PowerPC Mac's and there is some compatibility issues with the Intel versions.
I don't understand the evolution of macs very well since I recently got into them but I suppose that is the issue I'm having.

If you can run Mavericks, you can't run Driver. It's that simple. I have not been able to play Driver either because I am running Tiger, and although I have a PowerPC G4, Driver refuses to run in Classic mode. Gonna need a much older Mac with OS 9 to play this.

That's a real pity for mac owners. At least with Windows 7 you can still run the game. I haven't tried it on Windows 8. But I'm pretty sure it still works. Some here are probably wondering why I've come to the dark side. Mac is very powerful for video editing than windows. I love it. It's so amazing, haha

It wasn't a pity for Mac owners back in the day when it came out and OS 8 was the latest Mac OS. I highly doubt they were thinking "we gotta make this compatible with OS X 10.9!".
If anything it provides motivation to get one of those curvy eMacs.

I think the circular mini-map was only considered for the PC version; all preview shots with a circular map were from the PC version.
