Driver Madness

Hi there,

Is there a way to use the custom user made cars for Midtown Madness 2 and play it with Driver1.

Because if Driver1 cars can be converted to MM2 then why not vice verca.

Very interesting question, i didnt even know Driver 1 cars can be converted to MM2. Im interested as well because i have both MM1 and MM2, and i downloaded loads of extra cars from internet

Now here is what I know,
Car Models have never editable or viewed in other appications before including converting translations, so if all this is possible this shoud be amazing, something more amazing than ever before since all I've ever herd about modding is the mission scripts. Now if this can be converted from Driver to Midtown Madness it should be able to be converted the other way and we all should have to abbility to add our own custom designed cars. BUT one thing we should think about is that if these cars had been remodeled or converted from DRIVER.

Now I see that it does say converted but we don't know if someone did a good job remodeling it. So this is the only one thing I see, what I'll try to do is I'll try and contact the creator and see what he says. And maybe he will be able to help us add some cars into DRIVER although from the experiences i've had it does seem impossible.

And the origional Driver has that bigger fanbase of programmers and all of that, that this would have been found out a long time ago. So i'm pretty sure that was a remodel but I'll contact the creator and find out then i'll report back here and make the announcement to see how he did it and if it's as exciting as it's hyped up to be then i'll even make a news poston the front page since it's that exciting

I think the person who did was Richard P because if you search on google by typing "mm2 car from driver" then you get a result which gives a little description and i have attached a screenshot also.

And you are right he must have remodeled it or used Driv1r cars as templates.

Just the Driver creators understand all the file structures of the game. "Richard P"'s cars are not conversions, just copies. The only issue is how did he get the cars' textures - I'm perplex!

Maybe he created the cars textures from scratch or maybe he took screenshots from the cars with the film director where you can get in lots of angles for textures.

umm so we can use mo from midtown madness? like city cars, people etc
