Because Brisband was the reccommended one and is closest.
<50 miles away from my connection, adelaide is like 1500 miles away.
Why don't you try the brisband one and see how many miles away you are 8). How dare you imply my internet is provided from adelaide when it's from brisband  .

EDIT: When I first used adelaide it was at 19kb/s and stopped, failed.
I'll try it again to see what happens!

The ping in brisband is an increase of 50% responsitivity.
Speeds are just a little bit faster, before adelaides' was pretty bad.

The funniest is... that city is miles, and miles away from where I live, and therefore it was the recomended one...

that's sad, is the speed your internet is now the standed for where you live, or is yours just as fast as mine mostly?

Posted: Fri Sep 26, 2008 12:23 pm
by Nikusakken
No. There are better internet connections over here, the only problem is that I'm unlucky enough to have Dial-up internet...

i used to be on dial up, but then i convinced my parents to go to broadband, now i have a 15gb download thingy

I've tried so many times to convice my parents to change it, but it's harder than the whole mathematics stuff in school... <_<

if you are always bugging your parents when you are downloading something, say: if we had faster internet i can stop bugging you and you will have peace of mind with out me!

it sorta worked for me!

I can try, but I really don't expect that it'll work at all. But who knows?

Yeah, right. So, um, your connection speed looks really decent, too. Is your connection sufficient for jamming the newer games online, then?

by bb_42001
yeah, i can play on USA servers without lag, with a ping of close to 300

Yeah, I can play with little to no lag but my connection always ends up going out at random times...
