Global Warming. Does it exist?

I personally doesn't believe in it. Seriously, in some places of the world, yes, it's getting hotter, but in some places, it's getting could. See, yesterday there was snow in Kenya.
And you guys (and girl), so you believe in it or not?

there are signs, but i think the media makes it worse then wat it really is!

I think the media isn't taking enough action.
I've certainly noticed it rain much less, become a lot colder and a lot hotter.
and yes cold weather is also a part of global warming (at least I thought it was).
I've noticed really strange weather patterns, and everything feels different than what it used to be before Year 2000.
It's not just that, the things that people believe are causing it, can actually kill people. Every single time I work to and from school I feel like I can almost taste the fumes it's that bad and I live in a fairly mid populated area, imagine how bad it is in busy places like Tokyo, New York?.
and the '08 Olympics you could see that sh*t all over the city.
It'll be awesome when we can run our cars on water
There starting to release hybrid and competently electric cars over here now. Someone I know is interested in setting up shop for selling these things near where I live and they're going to cost $15 a day. Unlimited fuel because there is no fuel
It's a little ugly thing, don't expect to go street racing in it though. I think they can only reach 70km/h.

This isn't the vehicle I'm talking about but it looks pretty similar.
They also have four-door cars but they cost a little more than $15 a day.
I also guess we won't be seeing these in any driver game.
But at least we might have a chance at seeing one of these in Emergency Heros

Global warming exists, and yes, when it's getting colder it means that the weather is getting crazy and it has something to do with global warming. Global warming really exists, it has been prooved.
And they are a lot of Hybrid cars over here, and also in Japan. Lexus, Mercedes, Toyota

There's no hybrid car over here...

a bit off topic.... did you hear about that experiment they did yesterday, that dould of ended the world, as they were trying to replicate the big bang?

Actually they did that experiment at the start of September '08, I found some news back then. I'm amazed the news here is so far behind. When September 11 twin tower attacks got here almost instantly.
Apparently that thing you're talking about destroys atoms.
When one atom is destroyed.
Two atoms are destroyed.
Then 4. 8. 16. 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, ect... ect...
in millionths of a millisecond. So in less than a second, everything is destroyed because everything is made up of atoms.
If this is true, we could all be dead while I'm in the middle of typing this.
Then I would have wasted all this time

well luckly that didn't happen.. and the main experement was yesterday, they had a new guy talking to one of the people on the news

Yeah, but the actual potential explosion was supposed to occur last night...Or is it implosion? Whatever...If anything happened, only the Swiss and French would be affected...On the plus side, it would make the Barossa the BEST wine region in the world...Not that it isn't already or anything...
But we found out about the Trade Centre because so many people were killed, whereas the explosion/implosion thing wasn't determined. The so-called experts that believed it could happen weren't actually scientists, so...Yeah...
But Global Warming does exist. There's evidence. If you want to dispute it, move a few hundred km's west of where I am now and you will be under the hole in the ozone layer...I think it's in W.A. Not definite...Correct me if I am wrong though.
The reason rain and snow are occuring is because the polar icecaps, and Alaska, are melting, providing us with more water. This is then evaporated (by the sun...Global Warming) and is turned into rain, sleet, hail and snow. It's currently getting cold in some very unusual places, such as Australia, but we still aren't getting rain. That's one of the main issues...Water levels are rising, but the water is either polluted or salty, so we can't drink it or use it on crops or livestock.
Global Warming can make the weather colder, that is also factual. Technically it shouldn't be called Global Warming, but then again this title may be best as it is the warming of waters that is causing the cold weather. The increase in water means an increase in clouds and cloud cover. This increase in cloud formation is what causes the increases in snow and rain.
And apparently the pollution in Tokyo isn't so bad...Most likely because, unlike the U.S, they signed the Kyoto treaty (It's funny because Kyoto is in Japan!), plus they have this big thing on hybrids, but you don't want to actually drive in Tokyo anyway, it's better to catch the train.
But what you have to consider is all the stuff that happened millions of years ago...Maybe these weird fluctuations in temperatures are just nature's way of telling us 'You all have to die now.'
I'm down with that...

wouldn't it be easier to just provide a link to somewhere...
also pollution is considered global warming, plus the japan still has worse pollution then the USA.......
'
on another topic i love wikipedia's

For size or population, because I don't think they do...And at least Japan is making an attempt to combat Global Warming...Until Kevin Rudd became PM Australia and the US were the only two major countries not a signatory on the Kyoto Protocol, now its just the US...Can't wait for Barack Obama to become President.
Plus considering what Japan does for the world, you know, creating car parts, rockets, satellites, laptops, computers, gaming systems, etc, I think it's ok for them to have a little pollution, provided that they make an attempt to lessen it.
As is China, by the way...It's not nearly as bad as it was a few months ago...They are trying to clean up the pollution, but considering how many people live in Beijing, it may take a while...
Pollution is not Global Warming...Global Warming is the effect, pollution is the cause. Gosh.
And I couldn't provide a link because I wrote it, genius...Not everyone uses a site that provides false information to state something that they learnt in the tenth grade.

aren't you a little pissy tonight,
also japan does make a lot of stuff, but most of its made at low wages sh*tty work conditions and Aussies are suffering... <off topic there>
also not all of its global warming, the earths ozone layer is also dying in a sense from the sun and other elements, obama has said he would sign the treaty?? COOL!!!!
as for the polar ice caps, them melting has always happened its just a small bit serve this time.
the earth has a history of global warming it does this for year then it will stable out, and its not the driest its ever been.
and lastly some scientists think we might be heading for another ice age soon

About the experiment thing. No, it wouldn't explode, it would create a Black hole (or whatever the name is) and the whole universe would be destroyed.
Cool, isn't in?

You do realise that Australia is doing really well when it comes to exporting stuff, right? Mainly because we export to the US and China...
I can list our best exports if you want...But I think someone might get a little pissy, and that will be ever so slightly off topic.
Yes...That is one of his campaign platforms...
And, no...Global warming can be attributed to pollution. You might want to take notes: Prior to the industrial revolution of 1700's, there was no pollution and no hole in the ozone layer. Post-industrial revolution (aka now) pollution and hole in ozone layer...I think there just might be a connection!!!
The melting has always occurred...Yes. No doubt with that one. But they melted...I think it was about one percent per 100 years or something? Now its up to four percent a year...Something tells me that isn't right. If you want to be exact, the Artic is melting, the Antartic is growing. For people that don't know which one's which, the Artic is the one at the top, with claims on it by Russia and the Antartic is the one mostly owned by Australia, at the bottom.
But it isn't just the Artic that is melting. Yes the Artic has always been melting (although it still wasn't to the degree it is today) but Alaska was not always melting. I find it concerning when the cute little polar bears drown because all their ice is disappearing.
Who wants to play a game? The hottest temperature for Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Ploand, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Antarctica all occurred in which two centuries? I say two because this one is too new to say anything, but I can tell you that six of them were this century! Yay!
I'm not saying that the coldest weather hasn't happened in the past 108 years too, most of it has, but the facts are there. I doubt whether there will be another ice age...At least not before we're all dead (and by we, I mean the entire human population, short of the navy) due to the rising water levels...
Plus, I'm not definite here...But I'm pretty sure that your theory of "the earth has a history of global warming it does this for year then it will stable out, and its not the driest its ever been" is wrong. It's been doing this for...what? Twenty, thirty years now? Let's see...The first draft of the Kyoto Protocol was produced in 1993, so chances are that scientists kinda noticed the world heating up some time in the eighties...
Plus, you live in Australia...We're in the middle of a drought...We have major water shortages, the Murray is at its lowest levels I think ever, and you think that??? You might want to revise your material...
By the way, random question but did anyone know that both the fastest temperature rise and drop both occurred in South Dakota? Weird...

look i am not pissy.... and what i stated has been true there has been temperature rises though out earths history not as bad granted, but the earth also helps with this process... and i know about the poler caps, i might also say that movie an inconvenient truth? it was made up of fake or stolen footage, granted some is really.
and i do beive in global warming, i just think that people are making it out a lot worse then what it is thats all.
plus this is my opinion so its what i think, it maybe wrong but this is what i think.

The world climate would change already, this is a fact. But, the humanity's ignorance accelerated this process, unfortunately...

I heard they found something that could explain our existence and explain the creation of the universe. I don't know if it's what you mean. But I think they are things that we better don't know.

i beleive global warming is caused by earth somehow moving closer to the sun and if we get to close to it earth will be burned but by then therell be people living in domes on mars
