Should I lock topics which go off-topic?

I've noticed many topics are starting to go off-topic a lot once again, and I'm interested on hearing everyone elses thoughts if these topics should be locked or not?
EDIT: or if some sort of action should be taken?

no because if you do that.. it will become uninteresting.. and no good... we learn alot, also if you lock them you will loose users, and that would be GAY!

Nah, don't lock them. However, you should give somewhat, more severe laws here. Limit how far the off topics will go, give some warnings, etc...
And for current off topics, keep them as they are, or move them to new topics...

Hell nah,
You'd lock every topic..

If you locked all topics that went off topic, you'd be locking all except the stories...Mainly because they can't go off topic

I voted for now, but we should get back on topic everywhere I think.

LOL! Sorry, but that is about all I can say.
[EDIT]
Okay, a few days have passed, and I guess I can say more about this, but only that I am sorry to have been such a big offender in this regard, and that I will try harder to comport myself to the rules at DriverMadness.net. I hate to keep making promises and then failing to keep them, but I will continue to bear these things in mind.
[laughing a bit now]
You know how everything I read reminds me of some stupid thing no one probably really wants to hear about. Remember when I used to try to compensate for that by quoting people, but posting those quotes in the Free Chat area, so I could have a say about something OT without feeling so guilty? And then that DPLkickASS guy goes something like, "Hey, Madness are you moving posts to this section?" I guess I am a bit of a problem no matter what I do. LOL!
But really, man. I

Ah Miller, contrived as always.
I think that this site wouldn't be the place it is if we had to stay on topic all the time.
You also have to remember that as the majority of us are from the "PlayStation generation," that our minds are always ticking over and after becoming accustomed to have things blaze past us at a million miles, that when we get to this site at the end of our day, our minds are still ticking and reacting to influences that we see within our own fast paced worlds. As part of this generation, our tendency to go off topic has merely been created as a product of the fast changing digital environment we've been let into.
So there is a psychological reason that we shouldn't get rid off the off topic topics. We are all merely being human.

LOL! Am I a schemer, man? Always ready with a polished apple. Nah, I have been making a deliberate effort to comply on this lately. I feel good about it, too.
EDIT:
I guess I should have just asked what that means instead of guessing. What does that mean, then? Is it merely an observation about the style in which I tend to post messages? If I read something else into the comment that was not actually meant to be conveyed, sorry about that, then. Either way, that was funny, man. I have the same amount of trouble when I am trying to simply talk to people in real life, too.
I think we could all try a little harder to do a better job at remaining on topic, if not for the boss then at least for the sake of those who visit DriverMadness.net looking for information by topic, so they don

Compared to some other members you keep on topic pretty well (so don't worry too much).
Some members seem to post random useless things at ever topic they see. They ask questions which are pretty obvious.
There are a couple of users I'm worried about.
Here are some examples, I quickly found in a couple of minutes.

I wouldn't mind if this was in a chat session, but on a forum it shouldn't be happening, for the same reason you mentioned.

Finally someone agrees with me that bb_42001 is a very random person.
