Driver Madness

As you may see below, this topic is a topic made by me asking to be a moderator. I have spoken to our administrator, madness, and he is going to monitor my forum usage to see how well I do with other users who have been wanting to become moderators. So I need your thought on me wanting to become a moderator.

No, not here for long enough, and also I don't understand why. We don't need a modero.

And I am also a professional.
I am very good.

Cool I'm here since summer 2006 and I think I know more about sites than you, especially about this site. You joined just before the site closed.

Well, I know that you have been here longer than me. But I have been administering many sites for awhile. I am genius at this, and I learn fast.

AND you think you know more about sites than me? Just because you are older does not mean I am inferior. i know alot about the web, stuff you may never know, Coyote. I run many sites. i administer many forums, but only 1 will remain: the one in my profile.

, I don't want to get on anyones bad side but coyote does run driver-4.com and has a lot of knowledge of this kind of stuff.

At the moment I still feel we don't need a moderator, all we need is active users.

If we ever start having problems again, we can worry about looking for a moderator then.

One big thing about having a moderator is trust, you cannot really make someone a moderator if you don't know them well enough. They could be getting on your good side to destroy the forums.

Although I make many backups, this would be pointless.
It'll just mean some downtime.

I'm not saying anyone would do such a thing, but I'm sure it happens.

But since we don't really need a moderator at the moment I think we should leave it at that for now...

That's the thing, madness. That's what got me fired from my first forum.
I brought in a moderator for he had no competition, and i thought i could trust him (we trust each other now) and I was mistaken. He purged the main social board, then changed my user info. And then he was yanked of his title. Then a havker got in and purged everything else (coulda been the mod, but i doubt it).
Then I was removed from my admin position, before the former mod started protesting against the owner, for he was wanting me back in. Then the boards were removed.
I think I have an idea of who did this.
But anyway, I am the most trustworthy person you will ever meet.

And Coyote, i create websites AS A HOBBY!!!

But i was a co-admin at Coyotes forum a LONG time ago, but he fired me.. or i quit... i dont remember

Well we no longer have Alberto around here anymore, we proably could have done with a moderator. But eversince I restored/relocated the forums we have no had one spam post or user with the last two months of reopening.

We used to have, about 3 spam users a day, and a spam post every couple of days.

In another forum that I'm a member, there's 2 Administrators and 7 Moderators, probably bacause of the Flame & Banter section (Yes, A secton to Flame anyone that you want, since you're right to do it).

I don't understand why everyone wants to be moderator. Being moderator is not funny, you have to check all topics ( even topics that don't interest you ), check all posts

uhhh yea i'm just telling it, but while i was gone for 3 weeks someone sent spam in the wishlist section of the site for viagra and stuff like that and you didnt see it
