This is the problem. There are people who searches just cheats or ingame-pictures. I know a Website (driver-dimension.com), there are people wich/who (I don't know how to say) write in the Shoutbox, with any names (for ex : "f*** driver" or "sucking b***h), just bullsh**. THey write "gg" or "ZzZzZz…" pff…
The people are dickheads : they are searching tipps & solutions, but they don't know that they can get everything they want (solutions, cheats, blah, blah, blah,…)in the forum. maube they think it costs something.

Idiots. Why do they play the game if they don't like it? Why do they play with cheats? I always play without cheats the first time

Yeh, cheats affect game play and you just whiz though the game that easily and then your sick of the game.
Without cheats you can slowly progress threw the game, it may take longer but it's worth it. Then you can start using the cheats to get more gameplay out of the game, and beleave me once you've finished a game the cheats are usually the things which keeps the fun and action going.

I agree with you but I played GTA only with cheats because it's a silly (grate) game. The graphics are not as good as thous from Driv3r.
You can see the bullet holes in the car that is awsome.

I guess if you wanna see how crappy the storyline is altogether Cheats are a great way to play GTA. You just wanna get the game quickly out the way so you can play DRIV3R

yeh, I'm kinda sad that the Atari Forums disapeared, and I'd like to see some of the old members again, I've been looking around all the other driver forums and I haven't really seen them. I've noticed many have left DRIVER and have gone for something else, like I've seen them on some forums to do with other games and but I occasionaly see someone posting on IGN or Gamespot but not very often.
Anyways, what I was thinking about doing is I was thinking about PMing/Emailing everysingle DRIVER fan on the Atari Forums just to give them some updates like I would have if they were just reading it in the forums. I guess it would take a long time to cover everybody but I'm pretty sure it would be well worth it.
Although there are many other reasons for this:
There are many websites i've been working on which I have been wanted to tell everyone:
this includes the following:
- DPL-List (Most people liked this site and now the forums are Read-Only we have no way of telling them about the site, but the nice PM and email feature on the forums is very helpful)
- DRIV3R Modding (This is a very important thing to me in the driver community as I really want to get everysingle aspect in DRIV3R modded and hopefully we can all achieve that)
- Forums (I'd like to see these forums become more active so it's a great time to tell then all about these forums, UBISOFT is yet to open a DRIVER section to their forums and I think it will take them to the next game is released down the track)
- DRIV3R List (I don't think this would be finished by when I make that PM, but i'd like to take the oppertunity to tell everyone about this site so they check back at DRIVER MADNESS sometime soon so we can all announce it and then everyone can check out all that secret stuff I've found in teh game which no one else has the ability to see this.
- Driver Wishlists (A site to cover the wishlist something which is designed for Wishlists entries and this site will become very popular for everyones wishs as long as reflections knows the website exsists. This website should cover the path of "Driver Wishlists" which no one can post, but this idea will be more advanced with many features which will have rating and commenting systems on everyones wish

)
There are a few more things i'll add but they above are all the main ones and if anyone wishs to know more about the future of Driver Madness just ask and I'll create a topic just for explaining the future of this website in more detail.

Cheats suck, i like them only when i've completed yet the game, i like just to try them out sometime, just to mess around, but there are ppl that look for cheats b4 they buy the game!
I remember the very first Driver has Cheats available ONLY AFTER you complete the game (even if you can using them b4 you complete the game...but that's outside the game), that would be very cool, cheats available after the game is completed.
There are a big bunch of idiots in this world that aim to complete the game and they use cheats to do so.....once they complete it, are they happy for that? A game is meant to be played, you need to have fun, not to complete it with cheats!

Nicely said "Alberto", I also leave the cheats to last, just as something to do once you've cmopleted the game to keep the fun rockin.
I also have noticed that if you use cheats in any gta game it is impossible to complete the game 100% and then your unable to earn extra features which you get when you complete 100% like the bodyguards you get in Vice City conce you've completed 100%.

Actually i am aiming to complete 100% GTA SA, i had all cars, all tags, all photos, all golds at driving schools, i won all the races, my body was almost perfect and such...too bad i lose my savefile: My pc decided to reboot exactly when it was saving GTA savefile. I had to restart it again!
I also dont like GTA cheats, i tried GTA 3 and VC cheats but there's nothing very interesting, there are always the same cheats lol. I havent tried yet SA cheats, probably i wont since i play GTA SA only to race online or to complete it, i just have no time to spend to mess around anymore

What hapens when you gather everithing? Dose the game finish or something like that. Do you get something?

Well the story doesnt need we complete 100% the game, we can easily complete it at 60-70 % i think, once you finish the game story you're free to do whatever you want, but there are a few quick and secondary missions, like becoming a taxi driver or becoming a policeman. Completing GTA is such an impossible mission, it's extremly hard....i just like to do impossible stuff

Well It takes about 200hours on average to complely complete San Andreas I herd.
And i've surly played DRIV3R for more than 2000hours, so if only DRIV3R has as many thing to do I would have played it for more than 5000hours, lol.

LOL!
X-fire tracks those amounts, i've played:
Halo: 1382 hours (over 2000, i started playing Halo when i had not yet X-fire)
GTA SA: 179 hours (i play often MTA tho)
Track Mania Nations: 76 hours
etc
well...5000 hours are too much i think, i've been playing halo (with x-fire) for an average weekly time of 15-20 hours, Driv3r is not a very old game, you would have been playing Driv3r such 10 hours per day lol.

X-fire is a free online chat program, but it has a few interesting stuff in it: The best one is the game tracker, it tracks your played games, you can also see what game your friends play and also where (if you play online), it will show you also servers info and frags. You can also take screenshots and do everything you can do using MSN

I'm also just wondering if this program count your gameplay time even when your offline?, because when school starts up again, I'm not able to use the internet as much, which is quite annoying. Since it's not always there to since it's dial-up.

Nope, unfortunately you cant login if you're not online

I guess this application is useless for me then

Sadly since I don't have my own connection to stay connected I will be unable to track exzactly how many hours i've played my games.
But I guess when it's offline it's easier to be hacked as you can hack to program to say you plyed it for infaint time when you only played it for half an hour.
