Can you read this? If you can you are normal.

I cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch taem at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteers be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Such a cdonition is arppoiately cllaed Typoglycemia -

Amzanig huh? Yaeh and you awltas thought slpeling was ipmorantt!

What this reads:

I couldent beleive that I could aculalty understand what i was reading. The phanomenl power of the human mind, according to a research team at cambridge university, it doesnt matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place. the rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. this is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but as a whole. such a condition is apparently called Typoglycemia.

in other words:

your brain takes in all the letters in a word. it will automaticaly sort them in the correct order, as long as the first letter and last letter are in the correct place

I've heard of this, it's just a stupid internet myth, no research was ever carried out at Cambridge University... It's basically created by people who are too lazy to spell corectly.

As you have probably picked up, I dont especially enjoy English this year. Especially after being forced to read "Of Mice & Men" these holidays.
