I thought it was the best driver ever

I couldn't wait until it came out. I waited from March to June and on June 21 I went to go get it but ,but they didn't have it yet. So I was really excited about getting it so two days later I went to Circuit City to buy it, but I almost wasn't able to because I wasn't 17! yet, but the guy was cool and let me buy it anyways! So I got my gift card out, then I bought it ,but I still needed about 4 more dollars, so my big bros friend and my big bro went back into to the car to search for quaters and nickles till they had about four dollers. They gave it to the guy and he said he still needed 4 pennies. Ahhh! so it took us about 20 minutes to find the change, but we still couldn't find the pennies, but he said we could but it anyways. So after about 2 hours of getting in the car and going to the store and to back home. I finally got to play Driv3r and I played it all summer! It was a great game.

I also thought it was the best, I couldn't stop playing it. I was also short on money at the time and sadly I just decided to wait for the PC version as I couldn't afford a PS2 or XBOX. So that was just another couple of months wait which I really didn't want to have to sit through looking at everyones fan videos just waiting to get that game, then I finally got it and played it for 2 entire days non-stop.

And then after that I played it most of the holidays at 80% of the days.
Then a year passed by of me playing it for about 3hours a day and then my computer started performing pretty bad and I couldn't play it anymore even after reinstalling windows performance was terrible my computer was just getting old.

So anyways DPL was just about to be released and then I decided to purchase a XBOX and I got both DRIV3R and Driver: Parallel Lines. At the time xbox's and ps2 were quite cheap just about at their cheapest prices.

Then 2 weeks later the xbox dropped it's price by $100 and I was quite annoyed, expecially after borrowing money from someone and I owed them $100 if only I had waited a few more weeks I would have received tha discount.

Then on the xbox version I played through it time after time and I increased my playing time per day by an extra hour making it something like 4 hours a day.

Then I finally got a PS2 and I purchased DRIV3R on PS2, my first impression wasn't all that good mainly because the PS2's graphics really sucked. But it was alright but I'm happy I never first purchased the ps2 version first because I really thought it didn't look that nice at all.

Now I haven't played a single game in over 2 months, I seem to be getting too much homework these days and it's really holding me back

The holidays are coming in about another 4 weeks and I'm putting a new computer for me together tomorrow and the first game I'm going to install will be DRIV3R and I'll be playing that on full quality for ages making many exciting replays and more .

I plan to start playing DRIV3R a lot more on PC again and when Driver: Parallel Lines comes out on PC I'll make it a mixture however if there is no Film Director in Driver: Parallel Lines on PC I'll probley still continue playing DRIV3R for a significant amount of time.

So that is both the past, present and future of me and DRIV3R.

Ya ps2 is better for driving games since the controls are easier, but the graphics aren't that good. In Xbox controller they are too big and the controls are harder to use it. The ps2 could berly play Driver Parallel Lines the graphics weren't good and the cars stalled out in the middle of traffic. Which makes them harder to drive!

I disagree on this one.

It's something we cant say, there are ppl that are better racers with keyboard and other with joystick, most of them are better with a joystick, but another group of racers are better with a keyboard. I know that because i am a "member" of the last group

I think that the xbox controllers are too fat and I thought that were too hard to use it. I like the playstation 2 controllers because they are smaller and easier to use. I can see why the keyboard would be easy, but it would be more work on your hand and I don't won't to hurt it.

I can't stand using PS2 controllers there way too small for me. I'd have to say the XBOX controllers are great, that's why I purchased one for my computer.

I don't mind keyboards however keyboards don't have force feedback or anything fancy like that which you would usually find on a ps or xbox.

it was my first driver and i loved it!!!! i got it used for 13 bucks!!!! it kicked a**!!!!then i let my dumb*** friend borrow it, he said this happend "my babby cousin showed it to my mom and she wanted to play but i said no and got grounded and she kept it"BULL****!!!!!!

I'm starting to hope that UBISOFT will recreate it, however I don't think they will but it would be nice to see a glitchless version of DRIV3R with improved image and quality and of course this time the story should go longer and tanner should recover.

is tanner in a weelghair? Or if his leg is cut off theu could make it like that 1 movie where they put a gun on the leg lol

are you talking about the sliding tanner mod at all?

driv3r is still in my top 5 games of all time although i havent played it for ages due to homework and buying need for speed carbon

driv3r is one of my top games, I'm pretty sure it's my 1st faviourite.
I justed played TrueCrime: Streets of New York and I'd have to say that's not a good game at all. Bad Physics bad driving bad everything in that game, So I guess I'm still going to be a driv3r.

Wow! just by looking at the ad and knowing that Quentin Tarantino is involved, I can already tell this 2 film feature will be a complete waste of time.
