Driver Madness

About 60% of the time, when I try to get onto Driver Madness, Firefox acts as if there is no such site.
Basically, I can't get onto it.

I get on it fine through a proxy which is what I have to do a lot of the time.

Every other site I try to get to works fine so it's my connection.

Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

really, i have no problems accessing DM maybe set your DNS to open DNS?

never had the problem with open DNS, i will tel you how to change it soon, i am bit busy atm.

Here are the instructions.

If you are using vista or 7 start from first picture if you are using xp start from the second picture, i don't know how to get into the second window from xp but i am sure you can figure it out. Also if you are using wireless instead of cable its the exact same steps just do it for the wireless adaptor. Everything circled is what you have to click. The last picture says the settions you need to enter in the picture. any problems just ask.

I don't think it's a DNS error for me. I have the same problem as Emmet. Usually it happens in the afternoon (in my timezone).

even still, thats a better dns server, you should use it.

Ah well, I'll just use proxies for now.

I can't get on DM at school anymore, but I can ALWAYS get on at home.

How you guys manage to get on the internet at schools? You have no key protected wireless access points or just by mobiles?

Yeah, IT class, we're doing IT a lot this year as we are doing a GCSE in ICT.

It's really easy. Mostly just spend spend my time on skysports.com now.

I mean we have IT classes too. We do have internet. I just never sit on DM during brake. It's crazy! And we Have IT once a week, just one lesson. It sucks! I just thought you guys take with you laptops, psp's or whatever.

Nah, we usually have like 2 IT classes a day this year, for our GCSE, don't get me wrong, you have to do work too, but most of the people had it done with 2 or 3 weeks to go so it was just the internet for 2 weeks.
Oh yeah, skysports.com, soccermanager.com. Really handy.

There isn't any WIFI in our school, well, there is, but you can only get it at one end of the building.
And if there was WIFI I would probably be using it : )

In my school we have wifi but nobody of the classmates know the password to enter in the network

In Ireland, the main broadband provider, EIRCOM has something wrong with it's security codes so you can get the security code easily, there's a website online or you can get an iPhone app. for it.

In my class we have one PC with a projector so when there aren't teachers we can use it

Do you have a computer class? Where you all have a computer each?

No,we only have computers on computing classes and economics classes.
The PC in class is there to make presentations with Power Point,watch films,etc(with the projector)
