And I have an awesome 21st this weekend... And work 20 minutes after it ends... ^.^
AND a festival next week. Slash and Maiden :O But work at 1am before that. Apparently, the next two weeks will involve... no sleep

I love doing bar work (I don't do it constantly now though, just events) but I probably wouldn't have the time. But I wouldn't have to start work at 2am. That's the real bonus. I'd still be finishing at 1 though. It's primarily afternoon shift
And yes. Yes it is. But A7x pulled out a while ago. Now the headliners are Maiden, Slash and QOTSA... But there's also Stone Sour, Murderdolls (who I miss ), 30 seconds to mars, Dimmu Borgir, Dommin, Bullet for my valentine, Slayer, Sum 41 and about forty other amazing bands.Lol. I love festivals, and Soundwave. I bought my ticket the day they were released. I would have been going regardless of who was playing (unlike Big Day Out, which has become too mainstream although I would have loved to see Rammstein) so I was pretty happy with the lineup! EXCEPT(!!!) I have so many clashes I've had to choose between Dimmu Borgir and Slash (I chose Slash ^.^) and 30 Seconds to Mars or Slayer (I haven't picked yet... I'll have to do it soon) and The Blackout and Sum 41 (I haven't decided! Probably Sum 41 though...) and others that I've decided pretty easily. I was just really disappointed that it wasn't well thought out... Although the original timetable had like... eight bands I really wanted to see clashing with each other... Like, retarded clashes. Even now, Stone Sour and Murderdolls are on at the same time... People who like one generally like the other!!! Goooosh. Lol.
Really, I just chose Stone Sour so I don't have to change stages ^.^ BFMV then Stone Sour right next to them... Then my only break of the day. But I might get rid of that. If I sit down, I'll probably fall asleep. Lol.

I have a question, inspired by pretty much all of my friends. For those of you old enough to drink, legally or otherwise, do you drink at concerts and/or festivals? I think it ruins the show, but I'll happily (really happily) drink at gigs and whatnot... But I have friends who go to festivals just to drink... And others who genuinely enjoy the music, but still intend on drinking enough to leave drunk...

Mostly because of price at gigs, I only have a pint or two, I only drink more when its my friends band in a pub or something. At festivals all my mates don't do drugs or out, so they kept up with those that do with crates of alcohol, which was kinda fun, but I caught the one band I like more or less sober on the second night so I was happy enough. Then I got properly plastered and I think I might have been the one to set fire to our tent, but thats debateable...

I think the only concert I've ever had a drink at was... Britney Spears. Lol. Also my only pop concert to date.
We don't have many multiple day festivals in Australia... There's Falls, but I can't think of any others :/ But even our one day festivals are pretty well known internationally I know a group of Swedes (well, know of) heading to Soundwave. And I met a bunch of Germans that were here a couple of weeks ago for the Big Day Out.
My dream festival is Summersonic. I am trying to get there next year. My amazing lack of money is proving to be a hindrance. But I'll get there before I'm old ^.^

'Ello boys!
I am excited I have an art show tonight (not my art, I'm not that sort of artist) and then work, and then SOUNDWAVE!!! Wooo!
And I sorted out one of my clashes. Well, the band sorted it out. Pnuemonia does that. So now I only have to choose between two bands (and who am I kidding, it'll be 30stm) and get there in time to see my first band.
Which may or may not happen. Stupid work. Stupid boss not listening to me. Stupid fat people making fat people orders.

And I had the final part of my interview with Holden (GM) yesterday. 90% of it didn't suck. Still don't think I got it, though... But that could just be my normal "Oh, I didn't get it" rant, right before I do the "Holy f***! I got it!" dance. It's rather embarrassing, really, and only contributes to my "I don't dance" mentality. Which is ruined everytime I drink (YAY! Alcohol!).
So clearly, my weekend is set. What are you freaks and geeks up to this fine weekend?

Lol. That's what my weekend is normally like. Well, sleeping, then work, then sleeping, then a bar, then sleeping then Monday! I sleep a lot. People complain that every time they contact me, I'm asleep. Really I just sleep when everyone else is awake. It's purely coincidental
It's Mardi Gras this weekend in Sydney too. Wish I could go Maybe next year, I suppose.

Grandfather is reunited with car three years after leaving it in car park

A grandfather has been reunited with a car that has sat idle since he lost it almost three years ago and was stunned to discover it started first time.

Gerald Sanctuary, 80, parked the silver Honda saloon in an NCP car park when he went out shopping in May 2008.

But the dementia sufferer sadly forgot where he left it and was eventually helped home by a Good Samaritan.

Yesterday was Soundwave! I got burnt But I saw most of who I wanted to see. Missed QOTSA though But I saw them at the Big Day Out a few years ago, so I'm not really that sad.
I did, however, get on stage. I crowd surfed (for the first time. Scary stuff!) and got on the main stage (in front of 20,000 + people!) with 30 Seconds to Mars. So exciting

Now I have to wait for that to be topped. Something tells me I'll be waiting a very long time.
