Cool!
---------------------------------
Putrid offal, stomach necrotizing
putrefactive veins liquid
acidification by contaminated coagulated blood
endo-parasitism burning your eye sockets,
madness, confusion, contamination
I see blood coming through your eyes
You're dying
dead cells, necrotic flesh being rotten by flesh-eating fungus
I see your leg being chopped away
All dismembered you are
Septicaemia filled dermis scorched by acidic uric nocturia
I see
zygomycosis caused by Entomophthorales fungus
acute sinusitis, coughing blood, spreading to gastrointestinal tract
The way you die...

Interesting nick, I think a similarly poetic verse every time your avatar dies on a video game might work better than push X to magically not be dead, its a strange message we give, you f**k up, and I'll let you start again!

Damn a lot happened this weekend! While I was in France getting hammered it seems you guys got your typing heads on, maybe its our proximity to Christmas! Yea, bb, that song you said was good in in the charts over here, i think they are going to do well, I got my copy! They defo deserve it as the lion man has a splattering of honesty missing in most music, thanks for the heads up on a great band!

Nice Pulp quote postal dude; kick arse scene! max.thunder yea, those type of thinmgs are well trveled, we have got our share in the UK, but i doubt they will adopt them in Spain as they still haunt me, I think that grusomeness will just provoke a negative responce!

This Quick reply isn't very quick, but meh, I sippose I might aswell share my music prefrences; which is anything and everythinjg from Alice Cooper to the zutons with a lot of metal, a splash of D and B and a few pop songs...

Hello boss and everyone else:
I hope you all have been keeping well. It is nice to see that you have been able to keep your DriverMadness.net website going for so long. bb_42001, I admire your dedication to the website and your handiwork with keeping it functional (I mean, if I understand your current role and capacity here at all properly after reading a bit so far). Good luck with things in the new year, 2010. Nick, Harlequin, I like your avatar things.

I hope you all have a fine New Year celebration of some sort and that the upcoming year brings you happiness. To those of you for whom it is the Christmas season, Merry Christmas.

It looks like the tendency I had of typing longer posts in MS Word and then pasting them to the message board continued to be a problem the last time you switched things over to a new host or whatever you call it. I see that the Driver 2 Video Workshop thing and my posts to the story with which I helped are all cut off abruptly not very far into each post. I remember the time before, it was those strange symbols replacing apostrophes and quotation marks or something like that in people's posts.

Sorry about that. I will look through old CDs where routine back ups of My Documents were saved for copies of those things. If I find any, I will see if they can be pasted into place again in case anyone ever tries to read those things. Again, I am sorry about that. I didn't anticipate the problem at the time I was submitting posts to your message board back then, and did not know things were messed up that way again.

I am glad people still post to the stories section and the free chat thing still gets used. At first, those seemed like unexpected developments, considering the point system in place at the time provided more incentive to post elsewhere in other sections. It is nice to see people who like Driver games still getting together with other people who like Driver games, for whatever reason, including just to chat.

Things are awfully strange for me still, you guys. Major health problems. Totally sucks, man. The whole thing is kind of like being underwater at the pool -- where you can look around at things and hear the noises, albeit in a different, distant way -- and not knowing if you are going to get to come up for another breath before you run out of air. I guess that's when you are supposed to make sure to live like there is no tomorrow or something, but personally I find it pretty damn depressing. LOL

I haven't talked to anyone online for a long while, except Sedans sometimes. He is embarking on some new YouTube project involving his new Crown Victoria car or something like that. Maybe you already know. I think his new YouTube channel is called RDRtv, btw, in case he hasn't had time to let you know yet. Check it out, I guess.

I will look for the items I mentioned to help restore those bits of your website to their complete state or whatever. Maybe it can be pasted in easily enough if I have the stuff saved. Sorry about what happened to those spots here at DriverMadness.net. Unforunate. You guys are to be commended for your perseverence in holding things together here.

Take care, you guys. Happy New Year to you. Be good.

Sincerely,
Miller

Thank you for the encouragement. I appreciate it. Happy holidays to you.
bb_42001 wrote:It's a miracle
Hello, man. It looks like you guys managed to perform some miracles around here. I noticed a couple of places where I am pretty sure members' posts were once littered with this sort of thing (…”) but have been restored to their proper appearance. Was that something you managed to accomplish throughout the entire message board in one fell swoop with some kind of scripting maneuver? It looks nice. Congratulations.

I have not seen a backup CD of My Documents so far that has the Driver 2 Video Workshop post saved to it, but I found some documents with text of the Stories from New York: Possible Outcome 2 posts. I tried pasting in the text to edit the posts here now, but the places where the return key was used do not carry over. It's just one big, long sort of continuous thing without that kind of spacing in the body of the text. I'll still try to paste it in and read through it all to spread it out properly -- maybe catch some of the spots where it is supposed to be in bold or italics, too so it reads correctly or whatever. I guess it will take a little time though now since it won't just copy over the same exact way it looks.

I'm sorry I didn't know there were portions of that thread missing that I could have helped to restore. I'll see what I can do about it in case anyone ever tries to read that story in the future and I will check some more CDs for a copy of the Driver 2 Video Workshop document that the post was originally made from.

I guess some of you have finished high school since I last visited with you all. I hope that turned out all right and that things are going well for you now. Good luck to you.

Thank you for the replies and the nice words.

Hello, Wheelman75. That sounds cool. No, man, I didn't know that. Does it tell about that somehwere here, then? Can someone reply to say where I can read about it or post a link to information about it or something?

There is a special section devoted to that game, labeled "D4: Russia". It should be located under the section marked "Driver (General).

Miller!!! We missed you! I don't think we've had the totally awesome long posts since you went... Except for when we argue, of course!
Sorry to hear about your health problems, I hope you get well soon. It sounds quite horrible:(
Happy Holidays :)

Alcohol hammered? *jealous* I don't even get to drink on New Years, I have to babysit :( I hate children sooo much. And you mean Mumford and Sons with the song bb mentioned? It's not doing well on the charts in Aus, but who really cares about charts these days? It's full of crap and Miley Cyrus (vomit).

I posted the video to discuss if it's good to download music.
I not only listen Limp Bizkit.
I listen Metallica,AC/DC,The Prodigy,Saliva...,also some good hits of Tesla,Quiet Riot,Motley Crue,etc
You probably say that Nu-metal was a sh*t but for me it was a new style that started with Rage Against The Machine.
If you say that I have horrid taste in music,
what you listen to?
EDIT:I don't listen Kid Rock
Dude, RATM isn't Nu-metal. Korn is nu-metal. They invented the style. Nyer.
And as an almost-loyal Australian, I feel perfectly comfortable in saying ACDC are horrible. They were good way back in the day, no longer. Horrible, even. Metallica too... Old stuff, amazing. New stuff, ewwww.
PostalDude wrote:I listen to Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, David Bowie, Queen and various other good sh*t.
I love Queen and David Bowie... I saw Brian May play live in '05. I almost died, it was so amazing.
max.thunder wrote:Who did see the Australian TAC Safety TV Ads?, i think that those are the most realistic ads of traffic safety.
These ads started in 1989(in that year died 776 people),in this year it decreased to 303.(In Spain, the last year died almost 2000)they should put some ads in Spain
Also,in Italy the government want to increase the speed limit to 140 km/h

There's a "better" one that they released this year. First time I heard it (on the radio) I almost had a heart attack. It was freaky as. BB might have heard it, the train one? I'll try and find it, or record it next time it comes on. It's pretty horrific...

I just got back from a nerd party (yes, a nerd party. You read correctly). We played video games, two RPG's (I mean the old-fashioned way), played pool, poker, ate like starved bums (me at least), and acted like a bunch of homosexuals (each and every one of us). I also admitted to being bi (I live in a homophobic area. No one was bothered.) (my bi friend and I had some fun with that one), and someone recognized me only as "the kid who yells at football games" (during the season, I would go to home games and yell at everything).

Rage Against the Machine was a inspiration for the first nu-metal bands, also it sounds like a primitive nu-metal
