Does anyone know where i can get a GIF animator that i can use to make GIF's?

You mean you want to make animated gif's.
Well the most professional software you can use is Macromedia Flash now Adobe Flash CS3 you can try out a demo by clicking here.

It will also ask you to create an adobe account! before you can download it!

http://www.blumentals.net/egifan/ this is quite a good one that doesnt need registration or anything, but it is only a 20 day trial unless you want to part with USD$40.
