I do like the GTA franchise but I'm not too excited about the next one. Probably because I haven't got a 360 or PS3 and never will. But I'm fine with GTAIII, VC, LCS and VCS. I think IV should be the last one. Well not the last actual game but like last series of games. Like III was the last one and then others after that were prequels.

GTA IV looks cool but I prefer Driver 4.
And Coyote sad that the city is NY ? No it's New Liberty City, that is very similiar to NY (Because of the RAGE).

the felony system in GTA IV is more like the driver parallel lines one now, but except for that, its still on the shooting stuff
I hope Liberty City looks better then it did in GTA 3!

Well I decided to play a gta game once for the first time in a year or so.
I decided to get GTA:VCS as well as Driver: 76 for PSP.
I started playing GTA:VCS and it was pretty boring, but as soon as a new gameplay element come in it all of a sudden become more exciting. Not as exciting as Driver 76 but exciting enough.
I was able to take over places and turn them into illegal based empires. It's just fun taking control over the city. Hopefully we will see stuff like that in GTA IV, but hopefully way more advanced. All the previous gta games have kept those gameplay elements pretty simple and they get boring after a while.
Like when you kill a gang member it makes no difference, they should have gang-members count, where each gangmember for that gang is counted and you can go on a killing spree and once you've killed all those gang-members they no longer exist.
Hopefully GTAIV has that ^^^

hm.. according to the trailer that came out they sort of improved the physics on the vehicles... but the drifts with the non-reactant handbrake are still probably really fake. that's where driver rules on the driving physics

Driver had some great physics in both Driver 3 and Driver: Parallel Lines.
Not just the driving but when you hit a object the react more realisticly.
In GTA games you can slide past someones open door and you go straight through it, in driv3r it achually falls off. Realistically.

Yeah, but we've seen nothing on that game yet.
All I want to see at least is some concept art and some very early screens.

Yeah sort-of like how Saints Row 1 was "7" times better than SA.

Yeah so suck it. *Haterrrrrrrr*
Plus IV will have ALMOST NO customization options for Niko or whatever the f**k.
Plus they took out planes.
So whats better now?

I don't really like the new LC in GTA IV, I think they should have kept the old one.
Why don't they call it New York now …

From what I can see they've taken the stuff out to make it look more like a next generation driver game.
But I guess the storyline and the gameplay will end up totally different.
I've only seen the first trailer for this game.
But it looks like there moving in on what Reflections Interactive is doing with driver; photo realistic graphics, great physics (not sure but it seems good in the first video) and of course the car models look so much better than they used to.
But I guess it's just another generation and they had to do something like that to keep and make new gamers happy with their game.
The world is coming to what Reflections always wanted there games to be.
Ever since the start Reflections is trying to get the most they possibly can out of a console but in the end, end up failing due to unforeseen console limitations. But once they deeply looking in those consoles they were able to make the perfect game Driver: Parallel Lines.
Although I thought driv3r would be a lot better with a better engine.
As it had film director, but I guess the film directory caused the (pop-in draw distance) problem in the first place.

Well, Driver oughta come up with something hella good over the next couple years, conssidering SR, GTA, and other games that are both in and out of it genre, will be f***ing amazing.
