Yeah. I don't know where i got to exactly. i think i was somewhere at like 88% or something when i started again. At the time i have A, B, IA, IB, and S. soething like 200 cars, some of which i had about seven of. I don't know about credit or trophies though. I wouldn't say much credit though cause i but lots of cars. Personal rating of game. About 8.5 because i think the weather should change and their should be damage... all things coming to GT5... Awesome.

Who knows how to get the Jay Leno Tank Car?

I got one of my grandparents playing the game since I've been too busy with a lot of things I've been working on to do with the driver series and at the moment this is there statstics.

Game Completion = 32.9%
A-Spec Points = 7194
Livences Obtained = b, a, ib
gold = 0
silver = 3
brons = 45

A-Spec Mileage = 16,980miles
B-Spec Mileage = 12miles
Win Percentage 4651/5994 = 77.5%
Total no. of Trohpies = 4950
Total no. of prize cars = 933 cars
Total Prize Money = 48,752,500
Current Prize Money = 53,526,273
No. of cars owned = 50 cars

|In time spent playing the game this beats everyone else here I think and even dominates moonchild with a-spec driving, but the sames driving games have been repeated multiple times|

When I played it I didn't get very far. Maybe 9% Completion, 1000miles with a win percentage of around 90%.
But there only guesses, I haven't put in my memory card for ages and how busy I am I don't plan to anytime soon.

What ?! This is inpossible except if you have another money than me ! You can buy all the cars of the game with this money !

Posted: Sat Sep 08, 2007 8:29 pm

and he owns just about all the cars in the game, except the ones you can only unlock in some games.

But he has been driving around a lot and winning loads of races and this is why he has so much money.

He used to always play Driver: 3 and Driver: Parallel Lines as well as the original driver all the time and now he is hooked on grand turismo :P

WOW! These stats don't just dominate my scores they pretty much make them non-existent. Seriously, almost 6000 races! I've completed GT 100%, GT 2 95%+ and GT3 100% and my total races probally isn't even 4000.

The A/B-Spec miles is also crazy, 12 B miles, that's something to be proud of since it's so easy to let the game drive while you listen to music or something. Though, if you try and compete the annoying 24 hour races, your going to use B-Spec.

I think I'm going to start playing GT4 again so I can hit the 100% mark.

There are no pictures of Gran Turismo 5....there are pictures of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue though. And why look at pics when you can watch a bunch of videos: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/5158.html

Yeh lol they are great too but I want to see how the cars are getting damaged !

Remember though, GT5 Prologue is just a demo that's going to be released for the PSN this year, there may not be any damage at all. The real GT5 will release in late '08 or 09 and then you will see car damage. Question is, how good will it be? This will actually be pretty big since will kind of get a clue of how the whole license car manufacture thing effects damage models...

I have noticed Gran Turismo has a great marketing method.
and a great method which will help continue development of the game by earning a few extra bucks.

I remember back in the days when they released Gran Turismo 4 Prologue.
They sold them for about $30 each and they would contain a portion of the entire game.

I think they should do something similar with the driver series, starting you off in the story and allowing you to play small parts of the city!

Maybe that's too much like the dpl ps2 demo but maybe something with more content!

The Prologue titles haven't been all that great to the critics as the handling has usually turned out dodge and the game feels a little incomplete but still it's great for the fans!

and great for me if they release a pc prologue as well!
proably something for the wishlist thread!

I agree, but in order to charge people for demos/preview builds your going to need a strong brand name. Based on it's current condition it may not be the best thing to do for Driver right now. Most likely though, we will get a market place demo similar to the DPL PS2 one. (I actually got that one and at the time I thought it was great so I hope we see one for the new Driver)

Kind of to add but I've read that GT5 Prologue will cost $50+ on the PSN. Considering that's its really just a demo (like GT HD) I think its a ripoff.

Thats very much for a prologue …

and what is a PSN ?

I don't know if that's the final price but we'll see soon enough.

You don't know what PSN is? That's....odd. Anyways, I was going to give you a nice written description but I feel like watching a few episodes of Andromeda so a Wikipedia article will do: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Network

Well I dont know you sad PSN:

Yeh I saw it and I sad something !

Okay, then we can come back to GT4 :P

Somebody knows if it's possible to make races against other Driver or even in the multiplayer function on the Las Vegas Drag piste ? It looks like it would, but I can't find any race there.

Posted: Wed Sep 26, 2007 9:07 am
by Daltarin-Elite
I think the drags are stupid and thought they were only for testing the cars performance at the testing station. I suppose a drag against someone else would be better, but i don't know if its possible. i never even saw a drag strip on multiplayer, where do i find that?
