L.A (1947)
Amid the post-war boom of Hollywood's Golden Age, Cole Phelps is an LAPD detective thrown headfirst into a city drowning in its own success. Corruption is rampant, the drug trade is exploding, and murder rates are at an all-time high. In his fight to climb the ranks and do what’s right, Phelps must unravel the truth behind a string of arson attacks, racketeering conspiracies and brutal murders, battling the L.A. underworld and even members of his own department to uncover a secret that could shake the city to its rotten core.

Using groundbreaking new animation technology that captures every nuance of an actor's facial performance in astonishing detail, L.A. Noire is a violent crime thriller that blends breathtaking action with true detective work to deliver an unprecedented interactive experience. Search for clues, chase down suspects and interrogate witnesses as you struggle to find the truth in a city where everyone has something to hide.

L.A. Noire to ship on three discs on Xbox 360
With over 50 hours of dialogue and motion capture data for over 400 cast members under the bonnet, Rockstar's L.A. Noire is a big, big game - too big, in fact, for the Xbox 360's ageing 7.95GB DVD format. The publisher's just revealed that the 360 version of its promising crime caper will ship on three discs.

"L.A. Noire was always going to be a massive game, from the size and detail of the world to the length of the cases, and of course, the sheer amount of MotionScan data required for the faces of over 400 actors in-game," Jeronimo Barrera, one of Rockstar's "top people",

I'll wait for a while, the store where i buy my games tends to sell them cheap (1/3th to 1/4th of the original price) 3 months after release.

About the 3 DVDs, i posted it because i think that is a good idea to make such a long duration game, reminds me the times of Driver 2 in Psone. Sad that L.A Noire will not come out for PC (i hope that it will come out later for PC).

This game is f***ing' a! Been playing it for hrs so far and it's great. Experienced one funny bug though. On homicide desk, i just responded to a man with a gun street crime and when i got to the scene, the suspect took off with his car. I entered the car, started pursuing. After few seconds, i hit a bloody pole and it sent my car flying to the f***ing' skies.

Nah, i'd rather wait em' to DEVELOPE on the PC and then port to consoles. Console ports for PC end up being sh*tty.
