Driver Madness

On 18th February, we said good-bye to our beloved game developer, Bizarre Creations. Again, because of Activision crap, their studio has closed.

Activision statement:

Over the past three years since our purchase of Bizarre Creations, the fundamentals of the racing genre have changed significantly. Although we made a substantial investment in creating a new IP, Blur, it did not find a commercial audience. Bizarre is a very talented team of developers; however, because of the broader economic factors impacting the market, we are exploring our options regarding the future of the studio, including a potential sale of the business.

Dammit, Blood Stone and Blur were absolutely great! Not even talking about Project Gotham Racing, we all hoping for PGR4!

Farewell... Bizarre will be remember in my heart... hope same doesn`t happen to Reflections.

Such is life in Moscow

Well at least they could make sucgh a fitting tribute video for their hard work. Also some of the studio has started a new games company independently, however I doubt it will be releasing ps3 and xbox titles anytime soon...
