Nope, he never walked like that, ok his jumps were a little weird, so what he is not the best at jumping. Anyways if we get anymore into modding DRIV3R we might just get into changing the animations, the walking and jumping movements.

I'd defaintly have to say that the handling of the cars is very realistic, you couldn't call gta realism, it's just a toy for adults.

We can't just ban people because they want a bit of a argument. We ban people because they break the rules.

and if we do ban them and they get angry this could lead to more spam, and not to forget how easy it is to register for an account.

I can block IP addresses but there are still ways of getting around that which i'll not mention.

-Cartoon Quality Textures
-Unrealistic Handling (Maybe fun but not as realistic as driver)
-Basically no physics and where physics is used it's pretty crap

Vice City did NOT have cartoon textures and the Driver series sucked because:

-Horrible walking
-Horrible handling on cars
-The shooting suck VERY MUCH

And Vice City did NOT have unrealistic driving. Screw Tanner.

Even if i like GTA, it's not realistic:

- You can fell down for meters and meters and not die
- Car damages suck (graphically)
- Cars are not realistic when we drive them
- Actually it's not possible a car crashes at 130 km/h and gets not more than half health damaged
- Tires, fuel can, glasses and more cars' stuff cant be damaged in older GTA 3 and VC
- Characters cant swim (except SA)
- Sometimes cars disappear even if they are very close to the characters
- Not very good textures
- More but i have no time to list them all

These are the first things that came in my mind in 5 minutes.


GTA is NOT realistic, go install Driver 1 (a game made in 1997) and learn something. Madness, go ahead and make som video, ill try as well

Yeh, I guess we all have our own Point of View and you've just thought that the GTA series is great in your eyes. In fact I used to be a fan of the GTA series, until DRIV3R come out I was hooked onto it forever, probley because it was more what I wanted.

GTA was probley more what you wanted.

So really it's all about the individual and what there interests are and if your interests aren't on what the DRIVER series focus on what are you doing here. Go find a GTA forum, however if your interested in any driver game came and chat to us about one of the many Driver games you have had a liking to.

There is a wide range of DRIVER games for you to try, so take a look at them all.

I thought San Andrea was ok but I only bought it beacuse ther wasn't another Driver coming out and I sort of liked Vice City. I think the driving in San Andreas is all right, but I hate how the cars look unrealistic and to do the missions you have to shoot alot and I sucked at shooting. I couldn't get the gun to lock on the right character. In Driv3r the shooting is easier you just point the gun at the character and you shoot them that is alot easier and I thought it wasn't hard to beat. I also think that the driving is easier in Driv3r because you can steer better in it.

I think we've argued enough about GTA and Driv3r, everyone is free to say his/her own comment about GTA/Driv3r, but we all should aim to not argue so much.

I am asking to not argue anymore like that in this thread, we dont need issues like that, so please do not post anything related to the last issue, but feel free to say your opinion about GTA moderately.

Any abuse/heavy argument wont be allowed anymore, in case some of you will bring it up again i will lock this thread temporarely for a few days until a mod or admin will feel like reopening it again.

After seeing the following post I knew this is where big arguments get heavy abusing arguments and we can't have everyone arguing about everything all the time.

So if me or Alberto think that things are getting out of hand consider this topic locked.

So I'm giving you all a chance to be nice.
and of course if anyone does have video evidence of any of the problems then that's living proof. Now since many people don't own a tv tuner or an PC with gta on it then it's not as easy to say.

And to finish things off you can't really ever compare GTA with DRIVER there two totally different games.
