Ride to Hell set in 1969 follows the adventures of a man who returns from Vietnam and has trouble reintegrating into society. The conservative 1950s are over, the hippie revolution has launched, and the horrors of war are still everywhere in his mind.
Ride to Hell is promoted as not being for the faint hearted. The game is set in the last years of the roaring 1960's, a time of Sex, Drugs and Rock 'N Roll. The biker movement, rock music and the hippie counterculture all add to the fascinating atmosphere and aimed heavily at the player who wants to become fully involved in the original West Coast biker culture, with its hard drinking, bare knuckle environment and some other kind of fun.

Various gaming websites such as IGN have labeled Ride to Hell as cancelled. The game is also no longer on Deep Silver's website. In February 2013 the game was classified R18+ by the Australian Classification Board signalling that the game may be headed for release.

But I'm wondering what you're meant to do, probably cruise around in your bike, buy parts/modify it, and what else? Apparently also consuming drugs?

Well, obviously it looks a bit better but it does have this DPL-feeling. The garage, the bike (the Chopper in DPL), and also the graphics look so similar to DPL on PC with max settings.

I just finished playing DPL on the PC and I have to say I see no resemblances, sorry. If anything it kinda looks like Driver: San Francisco...LOL

This is a modern console game called GRID 2, coming out may 20th i think (this is an xbox 360 screenshot)

riders to hell looks fun, BUT is aged. If the graphics where better it would get higher reviews imo. Reviewers always seem to be strict on graphics, this will not pass.
Im not sayin i dont like this game, i think it would be cool. But i think they need to up the graphics so reviewers and average gamers that dont appreciate game play wont get angry

A closed circuit racer can pull of better graphics since it asks less to render (I assume RtH is openworld). Grid 2 doesn't look better then Forza 4 anyway but that aside.

But I agree, the graphics do look out-dated. Especially the character models look just plain weird.

Story is, they ran out of money, switched to the Unreal 3 engine, and were forced to release the alpha build.
