Hello Driver Madness. Yes, indeed, I am back. I am happy to announce that DrIVer: Russia has been "reignited", meaning that development shall be resumed. Development has been in progress for 2 months now. The project is going very slow due to several annoying glitches due to my stupidity with programming and impatience with computers. The storyline is going to be very good. Even though Driver: San Francisco is coming out, my story is NOT changing. The story will resume from Driv3r, where Tanner and Jericho are in the hospital. For those who played the first version of DrIVer, it is going to change A LOT. One, the car sizes are going to be shrunken down, so any custom cars will need to be resized. Sorry for the inconvenience but it is so that I don't have to redo the whole damn city. The roads are going to have 2 lanes. There will not be any sidewalks. Pedestrians will be on the grass though, along with the classic Driver clutter that you can crash into and send flying, make a big mess. I also have come up with a possible alternative to the chases. Instead of having damage, it may be like Need for Speed where you have to be stopped for a certain amount of time. However I would like feedback on that first. On Ultimate Driver there is a form to sign up for beta-testing. Sign up soon to help me out with this and decide which you like more. I am very confident that this will be a very successful project of mine and I hope that it is something that Driver fans can enjoy for free with full customization. Now for soundtrack. I have decided (in order to keep file size down), I will not include in-game music. You have to add it in yourself. The cutscenes however will have soundtrack. I am also hiring for somebody to work on cutscenes. Wheelman75, I would love to have you work on and fix up the cars for me. You have great talent when it comes to that. Depending on how things go I may release a public demo sometime this summer. And also, I ain't working on this every day this summer. I got parties to throw. I'll work on it at least 2 days every week though. So with that said, expecting this soon.

Chris Leone
