Hmm… strange. Well, I own the PSone version so I don't know what to do but maybe they're some files which have to be 'repared' or something by replacing them with new ones which you can download somewhere

that's interesting.
Never happened to me before.
I guess it's something to do with MIPS.
MIP MAPS in the game.
Since this has never happened to me before it's a bit hard to help you and fix. If you ever find out please tell me so I can add it to the Wiki as this will be useful if anyone else comes across the same issue in the future.
Just some ideas!
Try going into Configuration and messing around with a few of the settings. Try making all the values the opposite to what they really are. Except the resolution make the resolution the same as your desktop (windows) resolution.
Also try installing patches, driver updates.
Also don't know your system specs. Maybe you have an incompatible graphics card or something.

If it would be like that the game wouldn't work before.

ok, i found a fix.
it seems that there is a problem with ati drivers.
in configuration I have two options for the 3D device. one is primary display driver, and the other has a name of my graphics card.
when i select primary display driver it works ok.

Do you know if it happens with all ATI video graphics cards, or if it's just your particular video card?
If so what is the model of your ATI video card, just for future reference!

Don't worry. this problem that shows the primary display and the name of your video card is normal with all ATI video cards. NFS High Stakes also has this same problem.

ok, i tested it on multiple ATI cards and they have the same problem.
tested on following cards:
ATI RADEON 7500
ATI Mobility Radeon X600
ATI Radeon 9600
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD3870
As you can see those cards are quite different, so the problem is not in a specific type of card

I've had the issue before on my ATI RADEON X600.
I also got rid of it by opening the Configuration for Driver in the start menu, and changing the display device from "RADEON X600 Series" to "Primary Display Driver".

I'll add this information to the DriverWiki when it's up and running!
