Driver Madness

As the title says, whenever I try to run the game the screen turns black for half a minute or so and then prompts me with a window that says "Error: please run Driver configuration" (which I already ran). I tried to load Config.exe again with different settings. I clicked "test settings" (it returned OK) and clicked "save settings" but nothing happened, so I closed Config.exe and tried to start the game again only to get the same error.

I opened config.lang and it read:
Driver - Configuration
FATAL ERROR
No compatible 3D devices detected
Configuration OK
Configuration ERROR
3D settings:
3D device:
Resolution:
Depth:
Use 8bit texture support
Use Triple buffering
Test Settings
Save Settings

My drivers are up to date and I am running Win10.

I'll write this up properly later (as I only figured this out myself last night), but you need to use DGVooDoo, set it to emulate a geforce 4 ti, then you should be able to run config, then run the game.

You're fighting a losing battle gaming on Windows 10.

This is the first time I installed Driver, it was never installed on my PC previously, so DDraw.dll or any of the other stuff your links mentioned were never in the root directory and therefore were never the problem. If you have any real help I'll be happy to hear it, but if you don't, just don't reply.

Another quality member of this fine community. Poor baby likes his touchy squares too much.

Guys please be nice to each other and don't make me lock this topic. It's not in that way that the forum will become even more attractive than usual. However I agree that a little research before in the forum can help to solve some problems.
For the "config.exe" issue, try to see if you have the "CONFIG.DAT" file properly written on the HDD, once you clicked "save settings".
The "config.lang" file doesn't help. It's just here to display the correct language for the "config.exe".
