Driver Madness

I gett alot of lagg for some unknown reason when i run Driver on the ps2. It's an original copy of the disc and it only occurs when chased by cops.

Is the disk scratched anyhow?

The disc doesnt have any scratches. Gave it another run, the lag is reduced but still there.

If I had to guess I'd say it's just lag from emulation of the ps1 hardware. Probably not much you can do about it if that's the case.

I think that it is that one.
I did got rid of the lag issue by 90% by turning of digital out. Dont ask me how but it did work. I did got some texture isseus (even before the change in settings) to but they dissapear when i reload the level. Anyway thx for the help guys!

Glad to hear the problem is sorted out.

Uhm an update here, the texture errors came back and got worse. I'm gonna run Driver on a original psx at my friends house in 2 days. That will give me the answer if it is an emulation problem.

My last edit about this problem: The answer is emulation problems so im gonna save money for an real psx. If the mods want they can remove this thread, again thx for the support guys!

No, he has a point. I mean of course this place is not very active, but bumping a thread 5 years later with next to no substance is completely unnecessary.
