Driver Madness

Anyone have it? All I'm getting with Google is the US version of the 2.1 patch. And, does anyone have the CD patch that used to be available here?

I've personally never heard of the UK 2.1 Patch. And I don't remember there being a CD-Patch here...

I`ve found it before hosted it on old site (deleted or moved now ), but still having it. Download it from here. It`s still good patch, because it`s fixing some minor in-game bugs. But if you get any error about the .exe, get this.

Hmmm... Since i have the uk version too, i think i'll get the patch. I wish it would turn off the air life limit timer because
It's annoying to die each time you jump.And the cops dying even faster when flipped too... To resume it i wish the pc version were JUST like the ps1 version lol ^^'

Sorry, but what are you trying to say?

He's refering to when you roll over, or launch yourself high in the air with super fast cars and the like, how it will time out and say you wrecked your car if your wheels don't touch the ground in a certain amount of time.

I actually figured out how to disable the timer for the US version, but it was with direct hex editing (just a byte or two). I may sometime in the distant future be able to add it to the cheat menu. I also figured out how to disable death by water, which allows you to bob through it like normal driving.

Nice and clear. Driving through the water? COOL!

I wish Someone972 was working in GT Interactive, it could be more nicier to have a full control over Driver PC, PSX and Driver 2 now

Sorry for me being hard to understand sometimes ^^'... but yeah i agree with TheOldGamer, it would be awesome to have full control over the Driver games
