http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driver_%28series%29

I was just on wikipedia updating the driver external links to include links to the old mirrored websites only to find they don't want me doing that and they have decided to remove most of the mirror sites links along with most of the other fansites links and have offered me a warning.

You can find more about this on my usertalk page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk: ... roductions

contribute backing me up if you wish and have a wikipedia account!

I changed the Driver Vegas to a mirror site, and they replaced the original official site which no longer exists. What complete idiots run that place over there.

Well maybe what idots moderate the place over there.

That's so stupid by Wikipedia!

You want information from wiki, so why are they deleting it!?

It's probably one silly moderator, I could probably go back there and put the links back in with no problem!

EDIT: I also checked out the links in the blacklist only to find that just about all of them are the links we get, back when our spam protection wasn't as good!

I posted some links to here as well, and i didn't get any warnings. And I went through and corrected madness's grammar in the links (he put "A English Driver Fansite" :P ).

I have also put my own contribution to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk: ... roductions stating I believe it doesnt violate Wikipedia's standards as it provides access to further information on the game which is no longer avaliable from another source.
