So how do you upload a video file? I thought I read in the past that someone could PM Madness and he would give them an adress to upload with. I was going to ask if it should be inside an archive like .ZIP or .RAR, but I guess not, since since Madness said he was now asking some dude to not do that, but to just upload a video file by itself instead.

Well I do prefer the files to be as their original video file mainly because people can download them and play them straight away without having to worry about software such as winzip or winrar and these programs don't compress the file at all.

For uploading the file onto the server...
This is a pretty big subject for people who are new to using ftp. But to make things a lot easier I have decided to create a simplified way of uploading so you don't have to worry about ftp stuff.

I have set up a script which allows you to easily upload any file onto the server as long as it's under 999MB. Now I haven't tested it since I am on slow internet connection at the moment so I'm not sure how well it will handle with larger files.

So here is how it works go to the upload form by clicking here.

You'll then be presented with the following:
Forum Username* [enter in your forum username]
File #1* [use this to find your file and select it to be uploaded]
Description [add a description, make it something I'll understand when I move it to the Download Database]

then press "Upload Files".

Depending on how large the file is you may want to do something else to let the time pass by and at the moment there is no progress bar but I am working on adding such a feature in the future so you know where you upload is at.

So for now you'll have to use that upload form which can be found at the following url: http://www.publicupload.drivermadness.net/v1/index.php

Then I'll move it to the download database!

I've just uploaded the video I made with the smilie-crator problem.
Well, I think we don't need it any more but I use it as a test.

Once again the movie you sent me was 17kb.
Way too small for a movie and it doesn't work.
I'm sure it's connected to a larger file on your pc.
