Music Player

I decided to start up a small simple music player that you can easily access by pressing the "Music Player" button in the menu up above. Basically this opens a pop-up window with a small dpl media player where you have the ability to navigate from left to right song tracks at the moment there are over 100 songs and as time progresses by I'll add some more.
The Media Player includes the following songs from all different driver titles, most songs are samples but some are full tracks depending on weather they were licensed tracks or not. So we hope you enjoy this nice new audition to the driver madness network. So why not try it out now and see what you think.
If you have no idea where to find this button take a look at the screenshot below

Ten thumbs up, boss. (Like I said, I'm all thumbs, you know.) Too bad this one really cool, kind of stupid funky disco type song is so short, though. I forgot the name already. The one I mentioned in Free Chat. Thanks again for the player deal.

i was just listening to the music player and i think you need to put more upbeat driver songs in there, but songs from all the driver games.

Some of the songs are really short because their just samples from dpl, since it's illegal to include the real full tracks. But copy down the name and you could look for the full song on iTunes or something.

currently I've covered all of driver 2 (gba), driv3r (background music), about 30 dpl samples, 12 dpl full tracks.
Soon I'll add some more driver 2 gba songs, all the driver 1 songs as well as the full tracks found on the bonus disk on the special edition of dpl.

I think you should add every song from every DRIVER.

You can let play the game and record the music with a MP3 Recorder

I could do that but it's easier when I can just rip the music directly of the CD, then they'll be higher quality.

Yes this is better.
I thought you couldn't so it'd one of the atlernative solutions to have the songs, but it'd be stupid to make a digital file to an analog one, and then to remake it to a digital one.

I extended the music player… Iand I would like to know what is this green thing ??? lol

when you extend it it's meant to resize.
You must be using a different browser, it kind of looks like Safari so I'm gonna try that and it stretches it so I'm unable to go up there.
When I open the flash document that box actually is hiding up there but the browser should let you go up there.

I just worked out how you did it.
You didn't keep it in proportion and just pulled down.
You can do that on any browser.
and "Coyote" you notice too many things.

which comes back to the original question... why on earth is there a green square there?

My favourite song on it is Revenge Is Here from DRIV3R. Will the songs be available to download maybe on the main site so we can put them on our MP3 Players and iPods etc.?

yeah, sometime in the future I'll be planning to make these downloads.
I have been a little reluctant under copywrite issues though.
But none of the songs are licensed tracks so I guess it doesn't matter as much.

A just got a good idea: what if we make the music player in the form of an iPod ? And then you can choose the different songs on the screen of the iPod ! We could also make some games, like on the real iPod !

A possibility, but I probably wouldn't spend to much time on it.
This one was a little easier because it's basically the music player from the official dpl site with more songs.

I just call that a picture of an ipod and when you click on it you see a media player which doesn't have any ipod look to it!
