Heck of a name, right?
Anyway, bb and I discussed some promotion ideas on Facebook last Sunday and eventually, I PMed him on Driver Madness with this new idea I got: a funk track featuring sounds from the game, and some dude at the end who says over-dramatically "Driver Madness: the source for all your Driver series needs". My plan currently is to later pair it and sync it with a video after it's done (haven't even started). It will cost a dollar for each of us (cept me and bb trolololol) and anyone else who wants it. It will take a bit to make since quite some thought has to be put in and I have to go study a bunch of keyboard scales and stuff that I really should've studied earlier, but am stuck with now. So far, instruments I plan on including are an electric organ, a Moog bass (top of the line synth that's been producsed since the 60's), a brass section, drums, and sound FX from the games. So far, my practicing on the pentatonic scales (which I plan on basing most of it on) is going really well.
If any of you want to help, you can do so by uploading various sound effects, voice clips, etc. from the game and sending it to me. It'd be greatly appreciated and credit will be given.
