Driver Madness

I'm sending this message to let everyone know Driver Madness will be moving sometime around Thursday, 14th May. Expect some downtime.

For the first couple of months we will also have a problem with subdomains, therefor you will no longer be able to access the Driver Madness forums via http://www.forum.drivermadness.net once the change has been made.

Expect the same with images, downloads and other subdomains I may have used in the past. Instead they will be given their own directories under drivermadness.net.

This will cause a lot of havoc, but I'll try my best to resolve everything asap.

So if you have trouble accessing the forums go to http://www.drivermadness.net and follow the prompts.

That means i have to change my book marks, how could you madness

That's not a problem for me. My bookmark was drivermadness.net.

You should just give up madness. Stop trying. There's no traffic anymore, because nobody gives a flying sh*t.

Please note that I still have to transfer some webpages.
and the forums aren't configured properly, yet so some features may not work. I'll try to fix this up within the next 48 hours. This doesn't affect much.
Just a couple of minor things, like the links in subscription e-mails go to the old domain forum.drivermadness.net still.

Is it just me or are the forums taking really long to load. All other sites load as usual.

yea, imm getting that too, but its what you get if you go cheaper, but i don't mind. Hopefully its just while the servers transfered

One thing that has annoyed me now, is that i used to be able to log in and it would stay logged in for days, now its every session!!

Same for me.

I noticed all of the above. It is slow, the automatic log in does not work, AND LOTS OF MEMBERS ARE GONE!

I haven't been able to tell this, because my internet is slow in the first place.
I tested it on a faster internet connection and it was going all right, but the following day I noticed it took longer than usual to load.

I've got some final configuration settings to change, this is one of them.
Once I've changed it this should be fixed.

EDIT: I just modified the configuration files, the sessions issue should be fixed now.

yes... the email worked.
Unfortunately my previous host blocked my ability to use the mass mail feature for some reason and this time it worked. At least something good has come out of this host.

and to those who got the e-mail, sorry about it being plain lame. But I thought I would have been wasting my time and it wasn't going to work.

In the next couple of weeks I'll send a more official looking one.

Driver Madness has recently moved servers, forums have changed url.

Unfortunately I live in a completely different country. Maybe I'll move to your country when I turn 18, since the United States Government is really stupid. And my little "hunt you down" thing, I was copying off of bb_42001.
