Ok you may have noticed driver madness has been doing very strange things lately if you have regularly been visiting. In fact the server that driver madness was on got hacked. Now this was something I had no control over only my host, and this problem has really annoyed me because lots of the sites are missing luckily I have backups but it'll be a lot of work until I can get everything up and running again.

At the moment I'm restoring all the sites some sites may not be competently functional but they will be soon as I'll be doing my best to restore all the files.

It's a big job and I've been working on it for quite sometime. I'd like to tell everyone that everything will be alright, it's just going to take a few more days to get everything completely up and working again. Everything in the /main/ directory on Driver Madness should be working fine now but If you notice any problems don't hesitate to contact me so I can fix those problems up straight away.

I've always tried to make sure we don't lose everything, and this was a close call but I believe I have backups of pretty much all the files. Dial-Up restricts my full backing up, but I think I have everything sorted out.

I'll also mention that this hack was not made directly to drivermadness.net what so ever, it was made directly to piss off my host and/or a lot of it's users. My host fixed up the security hole so nothing like this will happen again!

So lets hope that everything stays working.
Kind of annoying that I have to dedicate a couple of days fixing things when I was planning to improve them, pretty much a bummer. But in the next few weeks expect a few surprises.
