Modding a Mod??

So you know how DSF on pc lacks the same lighting in the consoles versions. Well a while ago someone made a mod that edits the lighting to make it look like the console versions. The mod uses a text document to change effects. Then I wondered, if you modify some of the values in the text document for the mod, you could possibly create your own effects? Anybody think that might work? Spitballing here.
Well if anyone has that mod give that a shot. I'm going to give it a shot but I'm not an expert on scripting. In fact I have no idea how to write a script.

I just attempted modding the game to make my own weather. What happened was everything turned blurry (Cause I failed at trying to make fog) and everything was very weird looking. However, this means that it is possible to create a weather mod using this text document just you need to know what your dong!

You mean the ENBseries mod? Yeah, it changes the lighting but I don't like it because it messes up with the HUD and cutscenes. I once tried to contact some devs from Ubisoft Kiev (the studio that ported San Francisco) to see if it's possible to re-add the HDR and grain filter effects but I got no reply. I also tried messing around with the "graphics.ini" file located at "C:\Users\Your name here\Documents\Ubisoft\Driver San Francisco" but not luck either.

Yeah I know the ENB mod does have some problems. But at least it allows for a little bit of modding I guess. I also got a "Driver.exe has stopped working" when I tried to edit the mod and I forgot to backup that file.
