Driver Madness

Me and PostalDude have been following this one guy on Youtube for a while: ManoelMDSF. He seems to have succesfully changed the in-game weather and moods, not sure how though. Possibly through scripting? He's also been able to get a prison van chase the player, not sure if that's gained by modding or by some other means. The guy also managed to get in the "Blast From the Past" garage somehow, in multiplayer.







So lads, what do you think? I think we should definitely try and contact him, find out how he's doing this stuff and maybe get the fella to help us out a little? Not ending up bothering him of course, it might piss him off.

Maybe he just found addresses using Cheat Engine and changed stuff?

Yeah, it's Coyote, the creator of Driver-4.net, one of the first websites that i've found when i started searching for a Driver fansite to share info and stuff.

But i doubt that Coyote want come back here, probably now he'll think that we want to use him as a tool because he succeeded in modding some stuff in Driver SF.

Hi. I was just reading this forum. I saw that guys video too. Do you know how I can contact him besides youtube? I wanted to ask him for modding help myself because he doesn't know me therefore he doesn't hate me. Just wanted to try and contribute to guys and learn some modding.

Also, do you think the weather modding might be a text document script? I remember screwing around with driver parallel lines txt documents and I ended up making the sky green and the moon huge. Maybe its the same scripting way in DSF?

Guys..... it was done on the damn Mac version. Completely different file structures than the PC version.
