This weekend, I visited my dad's house & played Driv3r on his Xbox. I decided to see if I could cap all the Timmys in Miami without using any cheats, which I did, and I went over to the armory (or "armoury" as Reflections called it) to activate "18 Wheeler Havoc".

However, something weird happened when I activated this mode. I drove over to one of the red dots on the radar expecting to find a gray Peterbilt there. However, that dot instead corresponded to a police car. I thought the mode hadn't activated properly, but when I got him after me, he didn't work the lights/siren or the radio. Upon closer inspection, the driver & passenger turned out to be Timmy Vermicelli, as is normal for this mode.

When I evaded these guys & got to the safehouse north of Dodge Island (it's the goal point in "The Rooftops" mission), something else happened. Instead of driving cop cars, the Timmys were now driving taxis. From this point until I ended the Take a Ride session, any cars that were supposed to be big rigs were taxis. But when I restarted and re-activated "18 Wheeler Havoc", the Timmys were now driving gray Peterbilts as usual.

Now, my questions are:

1. Has this happened to anyone else?
2. I was driving a taxi myself, going at max speed, yet the Timmys' cabs went faster than mine. Why?

The cabs went faster because they were programmed to go cop speed.

Come to think of it, I do remember the Timmys' big rigs being a tad faster than mine (assuming they made few mistakes). Now, if only I could find out what caused them to spawn with taxicabs...

OK, so I tried 18 Wheeler Anarchy again this weekend on my dad's Xbox, and something else happened: Occasionally, a cop car would spawn, not with Timmys, but with regular cops inside. One of 'em didn't react even though I had an M-16 drawn. This happen to anyone?
