As you know, some vehicles in Miami have an issue with the headlights texture. So i created, as a request of PostalDude on Skype, a little fix to finally have a round shape.
So here is the fix for the Scout Cargo Van and Adams liberty.

You must use Antilli 2.0.0 to import the texture.

Edit:
Antilli might crash on the export, so you will have to do it again.

Next up should be fixes of some of the incorrect and ugly textures (ex: ford van's front is shifted to the left :| )

Can't think of anymore, but I think you know what I mean (Y)

Nice work! Watching those horrible headlights made me to play the game only at daytime setting.

The download has been approved.

The other file you uploaded, "http---www.mediafire.com-download-0sybd1ci3128mhf-Driv3r_Scout_Cargo_Van_headlights_texture_fix" appears to be an empty archive. If you can re-upload it with a smaller more appropriate filename and resubmit, that would be great :D.

Thank you for contributing to the download db  (Y)

Thank you Madness.
About this new file, i removed the "external link" option, because i saw that the old file was not in the database after the first approval (i thought it would be available both here and on mediafire), and i think there was an issue with the upload the first time (acces denied). Also i gave him a more shorter name.

I'm not very familiar with the new download db.
I don't have access to the server this site is on either.

The DB I used to run here was using an old script that was incompatible with the new phpbb. Later I decided to have a static http apache directory listing of downloads. BB has handled the new system we use today.

I've checked and I would assume you cannot use a external link from mediafire. As the external link I believe tries to wget from mediafire and upload to our collection on this site.

And duh, I'm silly. The latest file you uploaded does all the headlights... and I thought there was a purpose for the cargo van. Haha sometimes I'm just a bit slow. Hopefully I got the idea. I'm just a wee bit tired. I believe it goes into the "Alternative Download" section if you want a backup link in case something happens to the download from our site.

Hopefully I make sense.
In case I got it wrong I fix the download and left the link up.

If the download isn't necessary and is trumped by the newer one. Let me know and I'll remove the old one.

Hopefully I made sense, time for me to get some sleep :P

Goodnight all
Good-morning to those in the US. HAHA!!!

Too bad I can't use these wonderful fixes, because Antilli keeps crashing on me everytime I try to replace the textures :(

I had this issue too. The textures have been extracted and imported with Antilli 2.0.0.

That's what I'm using. I tried making one HD 69 Bruiser mod but I had that issue aswell (I was using 512 x 512 textures)

Maybe an issue with the dxt format.

I am using GIMP. Which format should I use?

Well it's the dds (DirectDraw Surface (DirectX)) container file format and dxt is the compression format (dxt1, dxt2, dxt3, dxt4, dxt5). Do you have a dds plugin for Gimp? Otherwise, Photoshop has one.

Yes. I am using the dds plugin for Gimp. But when I exported it I never selected the compression type

Well the compression format's type must remain the same.

Idk about you guys, but the one taillight being on a nighttime on the taxis is really annoying. Any possibility of a fix for those or is that a coding issue?

I think it can be fixed by editing the exe file, or maybe in the AWHF, BVO3, DVO3 parts but it has to be confirmed before.
