Whats with the license plate? Thats the Miami plate.

I don't think the model is even different, do you really see logic on them not having the texture sources, but modifying the models? Riiiigght... unless there aint side by side comparison of both, it cant be seen well.

Well, it doesn't make sense to me either. But then again, we also saw different models in Driver 2 multiplayer :)

The license plate format is the European format, and not the US format. Probably because it's just the Dolva from Nice copied to Miami. But the button at the back (to open the ramp and the doors) is missing, and that button was actually in 3D, and not just a texture, so there IS some differences :P

Also, I guess if Dykemann was saying this, he most likely also checked it.

Are there other differences between Atari release and Ubisoft release?
Anyway, judging by the bus pics, the Ubisoft release has low quality textures, especially on trees and foliage.

Actually, it was determined that Skylab picked up a Ubisoft copy of DRIV3R that contains modified content. Other Ubisoft releases are not like Skylab's. Just a funny misunderstanding I guess :P

Yeah, he has a modified version that has files from 2007, mine Ubi version has files from 2005, and i can't see differences in that one with the Atari release. Although the 2007 version has a better .exe, which is more friendly with new operating systems like Win 7.

The Ubi version is full of surprises :)
29 Files have been theoretically modified, but a few actuallly are .Even the executable.

It's because Skylabh has a ubi version with files last modified on 2007, and other ubi versions probably have unaltered content and files from 2005 (like Atari).

I am terribly sorry for bumping a months old topic, but one question has been in my mind lately: What happened to the Pong arcade machines in the Ubisoft release? Have they changed them? Pong is a registered trademark of Atari after all.
