I noticed that there aren't many original Driver videos out there. So i'll make a few. I already made one and i should add others very soon.
I thought that this might be a good place to exchange links for driver related videos.
link to my video is:

I also created a Driver group at YouTube. Here is the link

Within a week we are releasing something we are making to improve the video experience on these forums. It will be an easier way to view videos and it will be a bit like Driver Group on youtube however it will be done over here and will be hosted by Google Video, so the video quality is kept at an all time high.

Anyways for now that isn't here so here is a original driver video I created a while ago...

Awesome videos!!!! Cool glitch mario :D

After watching madness one, I realise how much I miss the film director feature in driver one that lets you lock the camera in a position around the car while following it. In D3 it gets annoying how it only lets you lock it behind or in front of the car, or rotating around it.

I'll make a video and upload it soon...

Sorry about the quality, I don't want to use up my upload/dowload limit

Yeah, the quality is very annoying, however It streams pretty fast on dial-up :P

Instead of working on that movie for DRIV3R I first might work on a movie for the original driver, I don't seem as worried using the cutscenes and revealing the storyline as much as the game is very old and is almost impossible to buy new these days.

Yeah the film editor in D3 ain't great, but hey it's the best game so we gotta live with it.

I in fact thought the film director in DRIV3R was easier to use, and a lot quicker yesterday I was using the Driver Film Director and it takes so long to make a replay.

I agree with both of you. DrIVer needs the best of both games in film director, and I'll be furious if they dont put a film director in it.

I also know there probably won't be a Film Director in the PC release of Driver: Parallel Lines but I do hope they put one in. It will be worth it in the end, their pc game will be posted all over the internet increasing sales and revenue... so make another great decision ubisoft and tell reflections to put in a Film Director if they haven't already done so, just remember the technical problems they had with the ps2 and xbox version no longer is there with the power with the pc and of course you can always have the feature to turn off the film director for increased performance.

I reviewed the code in your post and noticed you use the codec video tags. Please review your bbcode and check out the edit I made.

There are special Google Videos Tags which you can use by pressing the "GV" Button.

I'll soon post a write up on how to use this feature. Until I do that makesure that when you post a link you use the .com version if it isn't .com simply change ".com.au", ".nz" or whatever to ".com" and it'll work.

That would be good if you could do an instruction page. I can see the gv button now... thanks

ps... I might be asking too much as youve already had to get it working in the forums, but would it be that hard to allow you to choose the video dimensions? its just that my video looks crap at that size. i suppose i could just upload a better quality one.

I'll see what I can do, right know I just have a set amount of variables and their set at a certain resolution.

All this stuff got posted while I was experiencing severe Internet problems earlier this year that pretty much ended my visits here for a while, and somehow I simply overlooked this thread since returning to DM.net, even though I read and posted over a month ago in the video thread by that LoXodonte member person, which is presently located next to this thread. I must be blind or something. Anyway, that jump that Madness took a couple of times in Miami is a cool jump. It seems like it’s the only one in the whole map, except for maybe sand piles or whatever those things are.

It seems like I used to see a Google Video button in the post creation tools menu thing, too, but I don’t think I see it now. That’s pretty darn cool, being able to watch a video right on the message board page, man. LOL! So that’s how you make one of those little TV sets in your posts, just use these tags with the URL for the video in between, then? [gvideo] URL [/gvideo] So, what, I need to make a Google account, then? Not just a YouTube account, which I already made (Millereel—lol)? When I go to the Google Video help webpages thing, it says the following:

Q: Now that YouTube videos are appearing on Google Video, where and how do I upload content?
A: You'll be able to upload content to either YouTube or Google Video. Ultimately, we envision most user-generated and premium video content being hosted on YouTube so that it can further enhance the YouTube experience.

So I don’t quite get it, do I need to open a Google account, too, in order to be able to make a little TV in my posts at DM.net, or will my new YouTube account work for this if I just go find my YouTube videos on Google or something like that, and use that URL? You know, to make a little TV set in my post.

I always hated YouTube because of their low compressed crappy quality videos. However due to a sudden urge in requests I may end up adding YouTube functionality.

If you wish to upload a video now you'll need a Google Account, then you go go to video.google.com and login then you'll have a Video Upload tab you can click there and then you should be directed to some sort of uploading form.

Then you can put the url "[gvideo] URL [/gvideo]" like so, and if your using a different version of google video make sure it says .com on the end rather than .co.uk or .nz or .com.au or anything like that make sure it uses the .com domain or it won't work.

and then you'll have a video in your post.

These days we are allowing users to upload high quality videos on the Driver Madness server for downloading which totally beats the quality of Google Video and YouTube videos but together and you can get that true full screen feel with the video.

You could do what other users are starting to do and have your username or something that identify you and have your own entire section for all the videos your create.

Hopefully this answers all your questions...
