Which game series did you like better? Leave a reply below explaining why if you want!

For me, Flatout is an amazing game series, but Destruction Derby just takes the cake for me. Nothing will top DD1/DD2, ever.

Destruction Derby, no doubt. I have bought the psx only for this game back in the days.
I was fascinated by the graphics and the look of the cars, also by the damages. The good old time :specialdriver:
And that's why i have tried to reproduce a DD car, the Bouncer (#88), for Driver

My vote maybe can't count since i haven't played any Destruction Derby game, i've only played Flatout and Flatout 2. So i can only judge by the looks. My vote goes to Flatout, i know that is a game with a one generation difference. I like driving junk cars, the soundtrack is cool, car damage is awesome, like that the driver gets through the windshield (i had so many funny moments with that), and obviously the fun minigames. The 1st game was more sim than arcade, it was way harder and challenging, although the 2nd was more arcady being closer to burnout it had a bigger variety of circuits and cars. Also races and destruction derbys were way more fun.

I go for the non-existend third choise: Demolition Racer :P
If I had to choose from the current existing poll: Flatout, thx to the unmatched damage system (one of the few that rivals Carmageddon 2's crushage system).

Well if we must talk about games who are not listed in this poll, there is also this great but underestimated game for the PS2 and Xbox : Test Drive Eve of Destruction ( Driven to Destruction in Europe ).
It has a good damages system and for me, it's the most closest from Destruction Derby.
This game was developed by Monster Games in 2004 and published by Atari.

Thst game is damn-near better than FO and DD combined. Damn shame it runs horrible on PCSX2.

My vote goes to FlatOut, even though I really love DD, and owned every game in the series.. DD1, DD2 and DDA. :(

R.I.P Destruction Derby - 1995 - 2004.
FlatOut; 2004 - Present?

I really like both series so if i could vote both.. I would. I grew more up with DD though, I remember every game in the series and even DD: Ram being sale as NEW! :( Miss those times, I was poor, never bought it... now I regret it.

I played the first destruction derby game and the destruction derby raw (love the skyscraper derby knockouts), I like both of them, but then I got flatout 2 a few years later and I think I played a little bit more of that than either of the destruction derby games. Flatout Ultimate Carnage came out for Xbox 360 (basically flatout 2) and I played that even more! Overall I preferred flatout, but still like playing DD.
