Someone uploaded a video of a very early build of the game from 2008, looks like a alpha build, the buildings have no textures and there are placeholders instead of videos.

I haven't seen it, nice find!
I wasn't on the forums 11 months ago when it was likely posted.
I also did a search and couldn't find it. Perhaps it was at a time when we reverted back to an backup of an older database but I thought that was just over 2 years ago so unlikely.

Anyway, I thought it was quite interesting. Would be quite awesome to see the progress of the other driver games. I would also be amused to see how the really big titles like GTA do it.

Also the YouTuber who posted this is a DM member.
"maxthunder1" I think his here as max_thunder or something like that.

Intriguing. Slightly better graphics. A bit nicer to look at and play.

Sarcasm/10.
I'm kinda true about what I said. It seems like the colors are a bit more of an ease to the eye. In the actual game, you can get hurting eyes from the speeding. And that surely is WTF I get.

But to be honest, I thought Driver 3 was easier to look at. Everything was colorful, and the colors were darkened a little to be made more realistic. Which makes it easy on the eye.

You can change the color saturation in your graphic card control panel.

I don't want to have to go through my f***ing PS3 just to find it. It's better they add a feature to change the saturation.

PS3 doesn't have that, probably you will need to change it through your TV menu, you can create a preset for example for DSF with some modified settings and change it quick with your remote control.

Well, for sure the console version of DSF is too yellow and too shiny, probably too bloom-y. I can understand Wheels.
PC version is downgraded but it's cleaner at least.

And the fact that you can mod a PC game that's one of the brownest games *cough*cough*gtaiv*cough*cough* you can make it like the pictures.
