Hey guys, Driver was my second game ever after GTA but Driver was always better!

However, now that I am learning to drive, I thought that I might as well install Driver again and get the picture right. However, this time round the music (especialy in SF does not work :@) under XP, I don't know if this is because it is my operating system or not. So I purchased another copy for $10 and borrowed a copy from a friend but none of the music works :(

Is there a place where I can get the soundtrack?

Thank you for any feedback.

If you are talking about the original driver game there is a topic discussing this problem somewhere on this site, but sorry i cant remember the topic name.

I think that there is more than one version of the disc, both discs look different, i'm not sure whether the outer case looks different aswell though.

One disc has a soundtrack, the other one doesn't, again, i'm not sure why.

And did the game have music when you first had it installed?

Do the differnent versions you have look different?

If not, and no one here can help you, you may have to look up a patch to download.

OK thanks I'll try and look for it.

Do you know where the original files are located on the CD for the music?

When I first got the game under Windows 2000 it had always worked. With that same disc under XP the music plays but the first 3 seconds it loops.
So the first 3 seconds it plays then it keeps playing the first 3 seconds of it.

And now my newer version the music don't play at all.

I've tried patching but it don't work, perhaps I got wrong version?

I have no idea what that patch is. I don't have D1 on PC or have never owned it on any platform, But like i said, there are two discs, when i think about it, i think one was blue and black? Do you have that one?

I'm sorry, but i'm not one of the techies on the site but i do like to put in my two cents where i can, so i'll try to find out the first topic for you.
