I once had a reeally weird dream about Miami having a eerily similar map but with a huge added side up north, with only like a highway on it, high in the air, not super high but like a little bit elevated, I didn't even play D1 back in the day when I dreamt that crap. :s

The map was really dark, and similar to the real map, with ocean around it mostly but with a big city part in the east like it does in the real game. The northern part didn't have much except for a highway
Here is a similar map to it i drew in my free time, it was really similar to this but I can't remember excactly, but something like this.

It looks like Miami reversed haha! The part at the right is the city of Miami and should be at the left. The part at the left is the city of Miami Beach and should be at the right. The thing at the top I don't know Maybe you're meant to watch it upside down, the thing at the top would be a huge Dodge Island

Heh I know, it's really weird. the only part I did explore in the dream was the northern part so I have no idea how the other parts looked like.

There no beaches up north btw.
