I left my browser on the portal page earlier, when i refreshed it i was logged put, and i saw this, which kinda creeped me out..weird, but i needed madness to tkae a look at this-

A few people have asked about this!
That usually appears when someone tried to hack the site.
and according to the logs it was a guest trying to spam "libwww-perl/5.805", w*w.essba**er.*** it come from another sites server.

so there is no danger right?

madness told me the server was attempted to be hacked 5 times,
that was back when the site went down

Well in total so far there have been 27 hacking attempts.
Some people don't like this community

So wait if someone manages to hack the system, uhh, well all be screwed? That would suck, this sites been here awhile, the last thing that we need is the site going down because of hackers. You know what? its probally that driv3rood guy- or would she even be smart enough to hack something? And strange how that appeared first time (for me anyways) on the forum the day driverdood came back to the forum in a long time... Seems suspicious to me...

guess i missed a lot since i wasn't at here

if they manage to hack the site that means we'll get tirojan or another virus

well....theres not that much we can do....

And is they nothing with wich we can protect the site ?

i mean, seriously who doesn't like the site? i really like this site, and it was very useful when the atari forums went down
maybe you can use some firewall or something to protect the site

That driv3rdood doesn't even know how a computer works … I'm 100% sure it isn't him.

you never know. He could have learnt how to do it. He could of got one of his smarter friends to do it.
