After a long period of absence, with no updates in sight, someone972 has finally released the entire source code for the Driver Level Editor (formerly known as the Driver Car Importer). Thousands of lines of code, tons of different loading procedures - all of this forms one giant map for Driver's many file formats. It's time to get cracking at those amazing tools one man couldn't do by himself! You can read more on Driver Madness here or visit the GitHub directly here! Don't just stand there, go get it!

Without Jeff (someone972), all of this wouldn't have been possible in the first place. Some of the biggest breakthroughs in Driver modding were all because of Jeff and his persistence, something very few modders show for older games that don't quite have the hype of a game on the scale of GTA or Carmageddon (to name a couple). The history of Jeff's DRIVER Tools have truly shown what a little bit of patience, hard work, and dedication can accomplish in a little over 3 years. That's including slack-off-the-whole-summer time!

How did he do it? These wise words.
