The industry should invest more in the South America people. There a lot of qualified people here, they just need some investment from companies abroad. Besides the international mobile games companies, only Ubi has opened a development studio here.

Even bigger companies like EA and Activision doesn't invest here. If they do it, they'd have more people, and it would help to make more games, and more original ideas for new games and franchises. See Reflections. They only have 110 people there. If there was more investment, they could have more than 200 people that could work in future Driver instalments and brand new games with a lot of new ideas.

I always thought they were outsourcing developers from Montreal, Canada. But I think the game assets are created there. The concept, engine (physics, game) - (programming), and some of the games art.
