If you are a great storyboarder well you missed out on your chance as Reflections new Storyboard Artist was hired on March 7th 2007. We belieave that they hired a storyboard artist to go through the concept stage and now the team has passed that and is going on into the development stage with some new employees when they hire them.

From the available job positions available we can certainly tell that ubisoft and reflections are working together to produce a solid online feature. So we can expect online to be involved in the next driver title. Although the jobs available doesn’t tell us a great deal about the next driver title however it’ll be interesting to see how things pan out.

So at the moment we can only guess that Reflections have passed the concept stage and are undertaking the development stage for the next driver game.

Being a tester for games isn't a walk in the part either.
You have to do techniqual diagnostics and everything.

It's not just like walking into work and loading up the game and playing it looking for bugs and glitches. It's for testing performance and stability.

Even BETA Testers who do this type of stuff for free have to test for performance and stuff like that, not just to enjoy the game.

But maybe you know something I never thought you knew, and you have skill in that area, but what makes you damn sure that you'll be a tester at Crytek. Could you be saying if you lived very close to Reflections Interactives Development Studio that you could be a game tester their?

Unfortunately all the available positions are only available to people who are able to make it to Reflections Studio in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

In the past and probably present Reflections have been remotely hiring people. Martin Edmondson said he has remotely hired people.

Too bad they never released multiplayer in DPL.
But I guess it was a very quick job from an employee who doesn't focus on multiplayer functionality.

Nice. I'm taking the Graphic/Designer education anyway.
Hope they need more later when I'm educated.
There is a place here in New Zealand Called MDS (Media Design School) They do a course called the Diploma of Interactive gaming... or something like that.
The course is split into two sections; The people who come up with concept art and ideas for the game, and the people who write the code for the game. During the period of the two year course, these two groups work together and create and video game, they are not available to buy in store, but i have seen some of the content from these games and they look bloody good really. You may be able to downlaod them though.

I'm taking the design part of the course, so i can boss around the technical people, and say what i want and when i want it, it would be awesome. One day, you may see a game that i came up with the idea for... I think that would be brilliant.
