Lead Designer
The Lead Designer is responsible for leading a team of designers in producing a game design that allows the vision of the game’s Creative Director to be realised. As the Lead Designer you will oversee the detailed game design and ensure that the game design is planned, documented and tracked effectively; and instigate and manage design processes which ensure that game design development is both efficient and creative. You will need to exhibit passion and enthusiasm enough to inspire your team and to carry through the creative vision of the game for the Creative Director.
The Lead Designer is accountable to the project manager and creative director.

The City Artist is responsible for the creation of in-game city art assets. All artwork must be completed to the required standard and style set out by the Art Director and the City Art Lead. The City Artist will report directly to the City Art Lead.

• The City Artist is responsible for the creation of in-game city art which must work within the game design both technically and aesthetically and with all other components of the game.
• Assist in the estimation of work tasks.
• Modelling and texturing of city art assets, delivered on schedule.
• Participate in group critiquing of own work and the work of others.
• The ability to give as well as take constructive criticism.
• He/She is expected to learn and use new software as determined by the project requirements.

If you are a great storyboarder well you missed out on your chance as Reflections new Storyboard Artist was hired on March 7th 2007. We belieave that they hired a storyboard artist to go through the concept stage and now the team has passed that and is going on into the development stage with some new employees when they hire them.
From the available job positions available we can certainly tell that ubisoft and reflections are working together to produce a solid online feature. So we can expect online to be involved in the next driver title. Although the jobs available doesn’t tell us a great deal about the next driver title however it’ll be interesting to see how things pan out.

The City Artist is responsible for the creation of in-game city art assets. All artwork must be completed to the required standard and style set out by the Art Director and the City Art Lead. The City Artist will report directly to the City Art Lead.
Responsibilities
• The City Artist is responsible for the creation of in-game city art which must work within the game design both technically and aesthetically and with all other components of the game.
• Assist in the estimation of work tasks.
• Modelling and texturing of city art assets, delivered on schedule.
• Participate in group critiquing of own work and the work of others.
• The ability to give as well as take constructive criticism.
• He/She is expected to learn and use new software as determined by the project requirements.
Key Skills and Experience Required
• Candidates are required to demonstrate strong artistic and creative skills in modelling and texturing in-game assets.
• Proven aesthetic and technical skills are expected, as well as a good knowledge of 3DS Max and Photoshop.
• Initiative, problem-solving and good communications skills are required.
• He/She needs to work within the restrictions imposed by the platform(s), programmers and City Art Lead.
• He/She must be pro-active in the solving of artistic and technical problems, highly motivated and work well within a team.
Desirable Skills
• Candidates are expected to be a good communicator with enthusiasm for and commitment to producing high quality art work. The role requires close communication with the other City Artists, the City Art Lead, the Art Director, the Technical Art Lead, the Tools Team and Design Team.
• He/She will need to be organised and self-motivated.
If you are a great storyboarder well you missed out on your chance as Reflections new Storyboard Artist was hired on March 7th 2007. We belieave that they hired a storyboard artist to go through the concept stage and now the team has passed that and is going on into the development stage with some new employees when they hire them.
From the available job positions available we can certainly tell that ubisoft and reflections are working together to produce a solid online feature. So we can expect online to be involved in the next driver title. Although the jobs available doesn’t tell us a great deal about the next driver title however it’ll be interesting to see how things pan out.
So at the moment we can only guess that Reflections have passed the concept stage and are undertaking the development stage for the next driver game.
